The view to Table Mountain was obstructed. Only thing I diksliked.

Everything about it, I Loved! Wish I was given a room w a better view of Table Mountain! Best French Toast ever! The spa and the treatments were SUPER FAB! I loved it! If I can't do Mount Nelson next time, is the TAJ for sure! Also loved the amenities, the reception and the ambiance!

Loved the hotel. The only negative thing was that the kettle base was attached to the back of a drawer which meant it had to be pulled out to boil the kettle and was in the way.

One of the concierge's was rude to me when I cautioned a guest against paying for any Cape town services without FIRST knowing what the price is. Seems tourists are targeted for this sort of crime where the hotel is located. It happened to us twice while there. While the economy is significantly lower ($200/night for 5-star hotel, $7.00 for laundry services etc.)-ended up being charged 18,500 Rand ($900.) for hair dying/cut/style and mani/pedi/facial) at the salon: Euphoria (lol< I bet they were euphoric telling us the total after having our credit card in hand!). Lesson learned. Recommended hotel caution others from being a victim of assumptions. Concierge at concierge desk was rude and told other clients our experience as an exception- yet another person told us about a $1000 USD bottle of champagne a woman from Paris was charged for at a different location when ordering what the maitri d recommended in a dark restaurant.

Service is excellent. Love the atmosphere, rooms, restaurant, food quality, valet, spa. All excellent.

The gym could have been bigger and better equipped. There was nothing else though that I didn't like.

Was given excellent advice at checkin in. The location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was good and varied and it was nice that it included additional options that would not have been expected in other hotels.

I didn't feel I got very good service from the concierge team, I wrote an email before I arrived listing all the things I wanted to do, and 36 hours after I checked in they finally called me in the room and asked me to come down and chat with them. As it was they never ended up booking most of the things for me and I made my own arrangements as I didn't trust them to get it right after Dale messed up the very first thing I booked and still tried to overcharge me for the car, Dale was quiet rude about it and never apologised for his error nor wasting two hours of our time on a wild goose chase.

The staff in the club lounge were exceptional especially Innocent, who was super friendly and always spoke to me about my day. The sauna here is 24 hours as is the swimming pool and as we had jet lag this was a bonus, although you do have to ask them to put it on first and it takes 30 minutes to warm up.

There is no on site parking but the Valet Parking worked well

We were in a Cycle Race that started early so the Taj laid on a 'cyclists' breakfast that was available to us before normal restaurant opening time. This was very welcome
