Suites need updating to bring to expected standard. Rooms need to be cleaner. Need to resolve mains drainage issues.

The location was great. Really enjoyed the grounds and wildlife. Sage restaurant was a big hit.Staff were excellent.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous garden and pool area, great restaurant and very kind staff! We felt very welcome and greatly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast! Definitely worth visit!

Staff was friendly and very welcoming, and courteous. Staff went the extra mile, Little extras and turn down service was really appreciated and made one feel special. Food was spectacular.

If I had to be critical - and I really do not want to be, but the drinks service to the pool and outside seating areas was rather slow

We were welcoming by the friendliest staff as soon as we arrived at Hunters Country House! The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and is quite and peaceful. Our room was gorgeous, clean and comfy. The breakfast was amazing, with a great buffet selection and choice of hot/cooked. The pool & other facilities were lovely and the dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Would love to return!

There were problems with the TV reception and it was unwatchable.

We found the room too small so the excellent Manageress Rori immediately upgraded us. Loved the peace and quiet, wonderful food and exquisite gardens.

The coffee - I think it was burnt and tasted quite bad.

Quiet pleasant surroundings and good food. Enjoyed the healthy smoothies. Staff were attentive and helpful with our questions

I am allergic to honey and raw egg so I did not have enough options in the breakfast. I only had one option that I had to repeat for entire trip. But it was delicious.

Location was perfect. Entire stay was very enjoyable and everyone was very friendly and professional. ReLly happy overall.

Our bathroom shower was a tad dated but had a powerful shower . Our aircon machine broke down on a Sunday and though we were given a fan the problems hadn’t been fixed when we left 4 days later . The fridge made a constant buzz throughout the day and night .. however the over all hotel is fabulous !! They could also have made sure the fridges at the gym And yoga room were stocked with water bottles.

The stunning gardens .. the walk around the property .. the wild deer .. the outdoor gym area my husband loved . The ability to walk to the restaurants .the manageress at Zinzi called El deserves a mention and treated as us a stars .

Everything was perfect

Best place we have ever been!! It was so amazing. The staff were super friendly and thoughtful, were always thinking one step ahead for us. The room was so nice, the bed very comfortable. We loved the little surprises when we came back after dinner. Alsof, we loved the atmosphere of the garden and the main house. Just perfect!!

It was unusually cold during our stay, so our room was very cold however the staff had the fire on in our room for our return which was a nice touch.

The staff were amazing and couldnt do enough for you. The Yoga room was set out to watch the rugby world cup final and again the staff were excellent.

That we were only there for 3 days

The hotel is set within the most beautiful gardens, with paths winding through lawns to individual thatched villas. Throughout our 3-days at Hunters, we were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble. Our Villa (Kimassi No.3) was luxurious without being ostentatious, with antique wood furniture & the softest bed linen. We loved the special touch of returning to a crackling fire after dinner.
