A great lodge in the Nambiti reserve. From the park entry gate, it is a short, easy drive once you get picked up by your guide. I really enjoyed staying in the tents that were well equipped and comfortable. The lodge itself was amazing, such an ideallic place that was so relaxing. The pool was clean and a cool place to swim on the hot days. All the food and meals served were absolutely fantastic, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. We saw a lot of animals and had an awesome experience with the Ndlovus (Elephants).

I saw all the big 5 for the 1st time. Usually I saw 3 or 4 but this time all 5 and I saw lion and cheetah in the same spot..At first the 2 cheeters were chasing herd of wildebeest ans the king of the jungle came at that time 😂

You are not allowed to park your car next to your tent. There's a parking area when you enter the park and get picked up there. If would be better to know this before and maybe organize your luggage

The tented accommodation is very spacious and the outdoor shower is great. There was extra attention to detail in the room with a lovely turn down service and some evening drinks in your room. Our guide Braedon was so friendly and knowledgeable and the game drives were all unique and amazing.

It was an amazing experience and excellent value for money. Staff is awesome. Particularly, our guide, Sizwe, was very knowledgeable and also made its best to give us a great safari experience. The food was also perfect for all meals without exception. The tent was an exciting experience, and while being close to nature, you have all amenities.

This is my third stay at Nambiti and my second visit to Springbok Lodge. I rate Nambiti as one of the best safari's South Africa has to offer. It's a much shorter drive than Kruger and the setting and game are wonderful. I loved everything about Sprinkbok Lodge, from the food to the luxury tent. I'll definitely be back!

The roads in the reserve were very challenging following heavy rains, so the game drives were not the most comfortable. It would have been appreciated if the guide on our game drives had shared more information with regard to the flora and fauna in the area. I am not sure if this was down to a lack of experience and/or knowledge.

We received a very warm welcome and the picnic lunch out on the lawn was excellent. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the outdoor shower was an added treat. Both dinner and breakfast were most delicious. It was my daughter's birthday and she was made to feel very special with a gift and card left in her room as well as a candlelit bubble bath being prepared for her after dinner. A really much appreciated special touch. 2 game drives were included in the price and we did see a large number and variety of game.

There is quite a difference in the rooms in whether they are totally a tent or topped by a tent, would be good to be informed of this before arrival.

Nambiti is a fantastic Big 5 private game reserve between Johannesburg and Durban. It’s situated near the battlefields of the Anglo-Zulu wars. This was our second stay at Springbok Lodge in a year. From the start to finish, it was a lovely stay… the welcome, the stay and departure was personalised and hospitable. Mlu our ranger is really passionate about the wildlife. Staff are very helpful and friendly, take pride in their work and food was good. We were in luck with our sightings and experiences of the wildlife. Our stay was excellent and we will return!

I think you need to be forewarned about the “expected” tip for staff and the ranger. The lodge advises R250 per tent per night you are there for staff and R250 per tent per night you are there for ranger. We took family so had three tents which can add up to a sizeable amount you hadn’t budgeted for.

It was luxury in a tent form! Really beautiful. And the staff were exceptional and so friendly and helpful. Game drives were also awesome!
