We loved the beautiful cottage. It was such a privilege having it serviced daily( a very nice touch). It was in a perfect location to some wonderful hikes. We also loved the visit from the four legged fur friend.

I didn't not like anything, but perhaps if i were to change anything or add anything perhaps a more comfortable couch, some directions for the gas oven and some deck chairs to admire the beautiful view from outside.

The cottage was stunning with breathtaking views. Walking distance to drakensberg gardens. The fireplace was an added bonus. Quiet and tranquil with some friendly goats too.

I could walk around the property safely with beautiful views. I was given access to the Drakensberg Gardens Resort for the duration of my stay.

The roads getting to the accomodation needs alot of work, in the accomodation its self, an iron needs to be available to use, need to let the guest know that it is a gas oven( was abit disappointed coz we we doing a roast and no oven tray )

Lack of communication, certain aspects of cottage need repairs (i.e coffee table, kitchen cupboards etc.)

Unbelievable views (cannot stress how beautiful it is), fireplace, shower, comfy bed, peaceful, private, supply first crate of wood.

There is no coffee plunger (for coffee lovers like me). We had to buy/collect our own wood for the 2nd night, but we made an outing and walked around the property to find some pieces lying around. The coffee table's glass was broken. There are no towels.

The only issue we experienced was getting the gas oven to work to cook our oven meals without success. (We purchased meals beforehand that could be prepared in the oven.) Will you be looking at restoring the burned cottage?

Loved the quaint cottage nestled in the mountains, your beautiful flower garden and the gorgeous birds. The cottage was comfortable and my hubby and I enjoyed our anniversary weekend away, which was much needed after a prolonged busy period. It was really nice that we were on our own, away from the hustle and bustle (instead of a busy resort). The lady (sorry, i forgot her name) looking after the place was very good and friendly. This was a horrible experience! No one knew anything about my booking and I had to pay very costly alternative accommodation as I definitely would not have been happy staying in the cottage that the workers occupied? Why was my booking not canceled by Booking.com when the establishment changed ownership? And what happened to my payment that I made? This was unacceptable! I will never use Booking.com again.

Great location, beautiful and well kept accommodation, absolutely breathtaking views due to the elevated position of the house. Comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms. Loved relaxing in front of the cosy fireplace. Well equipped kitchen and ample seating for large group inside and out on the verandah(with beautiful mountain views)

Huge potholes on the gardens route, braai facilities needs an upgrade and so does the stove and bed.

Property was right at doorsteps of Garden Resort and didnt had to travel much to start hiking. A small mart called Elands Rest is there with all supplies and needs so dont have to travel all the way back to Underberg. Picturesque and awesome view of the Rhino Peak and mountain range from property.

That there was a broken chair, the water pressure is bad when two people shower at the same time.that there was no amenities available to us at the hotel as no residents. I suggest you link in with them to allow A day passes for your guests to use what they have to offer such as golf, horse riding, fishing etc.
