Nothing not to like, we hope to visit again some day.

Fabulously relaxing stay. Beautiful tropical garden. Sparkling pool. Cosy, spacious and comfortable bedroom. Tasty and plentiful breakfast and dinner. Secure and safe parking. The icing on the cake was the friendly and warm welcome we had from all the staff and Jenny and Gavin. From pre dinner drinks in the bar to sharing delicious evening meals family style. Jenny and Gavin are exceptional hosts, making everyone feel at home, we were so pleased we chose to stay at Wendy’s guesthouse and would highly recommend it as somewhere for travellers to connect with their hosts in a meaningful way.

There was nothing that we really felt could have been improved as we had such a good time with our stay

Breakfast and evening meal were of good quality food and well cooked. Staff were extremley attentive and made our stay exceptional. The gardens and setting around the property very traditional and colonial. The honesty bar was well catered with a wide range of drinks.

Beautiful accommodation in the River view part of Mtubatuba, very comfortable and spacious room, beautiful garden and nice little swimming pool. We booked the game drive in Imfolozi through the accommodation and Kyle was an excellent guide. Very good two-course dinners in the evenings and cooked to order breakfasts. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Some tiny holes in the clamboo might need fixing but other then that it was really the perfect questhouse for us.

The staff at Wendy’s really make all the difference. We felt super welcome the second we stepped into the beautiful garden. The place has a really peaceful and relaxed vibe with beautiful interiors and a cosy bar. We also really liked the swimming pool on a hot day after our safari drive in St Julia. We also felt super save, location is in a really quiet neighbourhood. The dinners and breaksfast were really nice and of high quality. But again the staff made the difference :)

Beautiful property with an African feel. Lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Staff and owners super friendly and helpful. Our safari trip to imfolozi was superb. The food was outstanding and very reasonable. Nice pool right outside our room. Gardens really beautiful.

Homely atmosphere. Enjoyed the breakfast and dinner times. Good advice. We took a safari drive with an experienced guide. About 40 minutes to Umpholozi Game park.

The cottage just had one aircon remote that wasn't working and a door that did not open fully, which blocked the entry into the main bedroom and made it more cramped than necessary. Replacing with a sliding barn door would open up a lot of space.

Lovely breakfast, extremely friendly staff and immaculate gardens, which transported one immediately to a holiday mood.

This is an excellent guesthouse in Mtubatuba. The rooms are neat and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and generous. My flight was delayed and I arrived almost at midnight, the guesthouse staff went out of their way and ensured that I had access to the keys for the room!

The lodge is close to Hluhluwe / iMfolozi SANPark (30km distance) so game dives from there are quite convenient. The ranger on our drive was one of the best we ever had, so much explanations and information about animals, plants and their interactions - wonderful. And we saw 4 of the big 5 (Leopard missing but still very good for a day with strong winds when every animal hides away. But Kyle found them all 👍) Very nice garden and there is a pool (which we did not use). Guests and hosts meet for a sundowner in the bar if they like and evening dinner is simply excellent. Very pleasant location, friendly hosts. Competent rangers on the game drives. Recommendation!

Great location close to Santa Lucia and a lot of other points of interest. The lodge is furnished with love for detail. Jenny and Gavin are super nice hosts and will help you out with your questions about the parks and other activities.

Nothing in particular, but it is a bit far from the centre of St. Lucia (20-30 mins drive). This made our stay at the estate quiet and calm.

Gavin and Jenny were truly excellent hosts and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Thank you so much. My wife really enjoyed Jenny's lovely garden and the kids got to play with the cute cats. Dinner in the quiet, relaxed dining room was also excellent, and it far exceeded our expectations. We will certainly visit here again.

I liked everything

Breakfast was yummy and filling. The place was clean, the staff and customer service was out of this world. We really enjoyed everything. Everything if off high quality. I would definitely recommend this establishment to all my friends and relatives.

The staff were very friendly, I was running late for check in due to a delayed flight, I called to request crockery and cutlery to be placed in my room. Upon my arrival they placed crockery and cutlery as requested. The room was spacious, clean and well laid out. The breakfast wad a variety of options and was very tasty. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
