Great location in the center of Marseille, just a few footsteps from Vieux Port and all relevant bus/metro stations. Very quiet as the windows do look into a nice courtyard with plants. Very well maintained apartment - complete refurbishment seems less than 2 years ago and all technical items like lamps and heaters worked well. Kitchen equipment with no ditches or scratches. Even dishwasher salt and tabs have been provided! Big freezer with sufficient icebox. Lots of tourist guides in the bookshelf available. Good bed and cosy linen.
We liked our interaction with the staff. All were helpful and friendly and made us feel very comfortable with their warmth and assistance. They were very responsive. The location was great with easy walking access from the train station and to the sights of Avignon. We really enjoyed the garden courtyard, a pleasant surprise for us.
Quiet ambience, outside courtyard murals plants
Claudine was a fantastic host who could not have been more helpful. Morning breakfasts were delicious and set in a beautiful garden courtyard. Very helpful advise on things to do and places to stay.
Charming property in the centre of the village with glorious courtyard for breakfast
Historical hotel in a courtyard.
Breakfast was a lovely traditional French morning feast with delicious bread, fruit, jams and pastries. They also made an exceptional pot of tea! We ate in their idyllic courtyard. Rooms have been beautifully renovated with lovely furnishing and bathrooms. We would like to thank Jean Francois and the team for a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying next year.
Exceptional and prompt communication, skilled, amicable and adaptable staff. Rich and diverse breakfast was beautifully displayed in the kitchen, and self catered in the covered outdoor atrium. This created a special atmosphere and made you feel right at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil escape and knows how to cherish a historically rich yet not stuffy ambience.
Lovely breakfast in a very pretty garden courtyard. Very helpful and friendly staff. A great location from which to visit Carcassonne. I stayed twice, and on my first night I had an amazing view to the citadel all illuminated.
