Opened in 2014, this central Copenhagen hotel is 450 metres from the Amalienborg Castle. It offers individually designed rooms and free Wi-Fi access.

Balinese-style furnishings, 4-poster beds and original artwork are featured in all Babette Guldsmeden rooms. Each has a flat-screen TV and a fresh bathroom with the hotel’s own organic toiletries.

Our stay at Babette was phenomenal from the moment we arrived. We booked the family room, with the kids sleeping loft. Our teen loved having that cozy nook to themself-and it made our lower bedroom & sitting are feel very private and kept tidy! The beds were heaven. Linens the same. The stone tub-amazing. The gorgeous textile robe for post bath, divine. The balcony overlooking the breathtaking rooftops of Copenhagen was magical to wake up to! Think soft gray birds flying in stark sky, over coral clay and slick black roofing tiles. The architecture is beautiful. But the breakfast (get it!) was the most. We knew we had a long day moving over to our Airbnb, getting settled, finding a grocery market….could feel long. The generous hot breakfast buffet had all the things you hope for on a first morning in Copenhagen. We left for our next stay, full of the best soft-scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. The dark rye bread & gravlax were hearty and needed on the cooler rainy morning. Skyr, fruit, bacon…wonderful coffee and ginger shots for immune boosting! I mean. It’s the details, right!? We left with some hesitation as to what could be better than this. Btw- our Airbnb is just perfect as well. And I’m in THAT tub writing this! A+ Babette Guldsmeden THANK YOU!

We loved our stay! Lovely hotel, great location, very clean. We got married during our stay and we got a free upgrade and a bottle of champagne and treats when we arrived with a personalised note which was such a lovely touch! Our parents stayed in the same hotel during our stay and they loved it too! The breakfast was very good also. Thank you!

The whole vibe was incredible - just the lovely candles everywhere, the softness of the bed (bamboo!), the funky bar - just a perfect stay. I had the best time with my partner. We also opted for the spa which was so needed after long days in the wind and snow. Felt the most relaxed. I also love loved the eco foundations of the hotel.

From arrival to departure our stay was perfect. Every staff member we dealt with from reception to bar to concierge, went out of their way to make our stay special. On arrival we were upgraded, and given a bottle of wine, to celebrate my husband’s special birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary, with a lovely letter from the Admiral team. The location is fabulous overlooking the water and near Nyhavn. The room was spotless, the bed so comfy and often not available in Europe yea and coffee making facilities. Oh and we loved the ice maker!

Lovely Hostel! My boyfriend and I booked a double tent. It gives you the necessary privacy, but still the price is a Hostel price. The staff has been always very kind. The common area is perfect to meet other people and to relax listening to good music and the breakfast is a plus not to be underestimated (as in Denmark everything is very expensive for travellers coming from southern Europe), The metro station of Norrebro is 3 min walking. Perfect stay, i would absolytely recommend it.

Excellent location just steps from the train station, incredibly warm welcome and inviting atmosphere (wine hour in the evening was a lovely touch), automatic upgrade when we checked in, quiet room (courtyard facing). Just a perfect stay.
