This is my favourite hotel in Oulu. It's spacious, easy parking and good location. Especially the quality and variety of gluten free products at breakfast is better than in other hotels and I've been to many of them. No cardboard and styrofoam in this one. The overall quality of everything is very good, including the bedding, beds are really comfortable in all room categories, I've been to standard rooms and suites. It's worth taking a bit more expensive room from here than a cheaper one from some other hotel, for the over all experience.

Installations were very modern. Staff very friendly. How the sauna works is something very new to me, it really surprised me, and the detail of the oil for the feet was very nice. I would totally recommend or come back here.

On arrival I was met by the cleaning lady who was super friendly and showed me how to use the door code system properly. My co-guest was a nice Finnish woman who helped me design my route for the next days. The bathroom with adhering sauna was all Ineeded to really relax. The friendly staff, the room with the sauna, the Christmas Eve buffet, the Christmas Day surprise menu - the whole atmosphere is fantastic. Not on the cheap side, obviously, you have to save up for it - but it's absolutely worth it! After 2018 this was our second stay in Lapland Hotels Oulu, and I am quite sure it wasn't our last one ... thank you all for a lovely holiday! You are all amazing!
