the location. the room was very plain and simple, absolutely charming, with a wonderful Terrasse with views of the sea. the food was great, breakfast, full English, with everything you could possibly want, snack at lunchtime excellent and dinner was always cooked to perfection, whatever we ate. finally, the staff, with no exception were all so pleasant and efficient, and charming. and special thanks to the lady who cleaned the room, every day she replenished our supplies of tea and coffee. we didn’t even have to ask!!! she is a treasure.

It's a gem practically in the middle of nowhere close to the shore. It attracts lots of people wandering along the coast so it there is always a nice buzz. The restaurant is super with lots of choices on beer. The rooms are spacious enough and are very quiet. There is plenty of choice for cooked breakfast. We loved it and will surely go back.

It was my birthday on my second day and when I returned from a long day of walking and sight seeing a lovely birthday treat had been left in my room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made my stay special. I will definitely stay again.

It would have been nice to have had a couple of little luxury touches given the nightly rate. Staff were friendly and approachable but often seemed stretched and a couple of times we had to ask twice for things as they weren't done the first time. Breakfast was lovely but just a 1 hour window seemed a bit tight.

I particularly want to mention the older waitress who has partly shaved hair and tattoos. Her cheerful disposition and positive attitude is is a real asset to Lulworth Lodge.
