A charming little hotel at the central square of Wehlen, the location couldn't be better, you can find pretty much everything the town has offer just around the corner. The train station is on the other side of the Elbe, but there is an excellent ferry service that gets you over the river in 2 min, there is practically no waiting time as the service is "on demand", and once you get off the ferry, the hotel is just another 2 min walk away. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, you can see that they love what they are doing. The breakfast had an incredible variety of some really creative homemade marmalades, four days weren't enough for us to try them all. Our room had a spacious bathroom and a large terrace.

Our beautiful holiday home is close to the center and only a few minutes' walk from the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Modernly furnished with Italian flair. Have breakfast on our beautiful terrace or in the conservatory. Use our 24/7 bar and enjoy... Great hotel near the centrum of Bad Schandau. The staff speaks germen and sometimes also czech. Great location for if you would like hiking in near national park.

Nice clean room, nice breakfast (maybe not exceptional, but what did you expect?), nice choice of traditional meals, beer, and wine in the hotel restaurant, which serves 5-10 pm (kitchen closes at 9 pm).

We speak very little German, and found that they went above & beyond to speak English , to understand our questions & point us in the right direction.

There is a full restaurant with a bar and a large furnished terrace at the hotel. Breakfast is offered each morning and packed lunches are available. Free WiFi access is offered in all areas. Next time, I will stay longer! I had the best sleep in a while. Comfy bed and very quiet room as my visit took place in the off-season when there were just a few other guests. Hotel is a few minutes away from the ferry pier, historic elevator etc.

The hotel has a spa centre and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Everything from staff to the size of the room, location, wide selection of breakfast choices and local specialities, etc was perfect. Didn't expect that everything will be at such a high quality. Loved the view from the room and the little balcony, stunning location and the building itself full of history and charm. Although pool was a bit cold for the time of the year, the facilities were great and my partner still managed to enjoy a refreshing swim in the morning. Cosy spa too. Had a dinner booked at the restaurant one night and the service and meal was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful place in Bad Schandau - I wish to be a guest in the future.

Reception was very helpful; I indeed got the transit pass as promised in other reviews, which was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious - coffee on the table upon arrival. Lots of unique outdoor spaces to relax in. I liked that there were bottled refreshments (including beer/wine) available for purchase on the honor system. Location was pretty and quiet.
