We arrived late in the evening by bus, and Gillie very kindly picked us up from the bus stop, even though it was just a short walk from the cottage. The room was spacious and warm. At breakfast, we enjoyed both the food (Gillie catered to our dietary requirements) and the communal atmosphere (we were seated at a long table and got to chat with the other guests). The place is just a short bus ride from St Andrews, and the buses go very frequently.

Free private parking is available on site. Excellent value for money, very friendly staff. Room was as advertised. Very nice do it yourself breakfast (Irish butter!) and great selection of local beers and whiskey in the bar. Well situated as a starting point to go out and explore the surroundings.
