Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City.

The elegantly furnished rooms offer views of the reserve and come with en-suite bathroom. The suites have a lounge area. Very welcoming staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable. They included special surprises as this was our honeymoon. The view from the room is unbelievable.

Each luxury chalet has an open plan lounge with a fireplace, a fan and a private balcony. It comes equipped with a minibar and the private bathroom has a bath that overlooks the plains.

Trained and experienced field guides take guests out into the reserve in an open 4x4 vehicle twice a day including morning coffee and muffins and sundowner stops. A small library is available for those who would like to relax with a book. This is a bucket list destination as it is located right inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The staff are amazing and always have a huge smile in their face.

Guests can relax by the main swimming pool or enjoy a meal from the Acacia Terrace Café. The nearby Splash Kingdom Water Park offers entertainment for the family and there is also a children's playground on site. really close to pilinsburg, free shuttle to sun city, great facilities

Featuring an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, Royal Marang Hotel offers luxury accommodation with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. This 5-star hotel also has a restaurant, two bars and a variety of conference facilities. Overall experience from the rooms, reception, staff, facilities, dinner and breakfast. My son enjoyed the pool :) and my partners is pushing for a another return to the hotel and this time our stay could be much longer.

Magalies Park is located at the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountain range and 10 km from Hartbeespoort Dam. The resort features wellness facilities, a kids' club and a golf course.

Guests can relax at 3 outdoor pools or enjoy a game of tennis, volleyball or play mini golf. The resort has a children's playground and babysitting services can be arranged. There were three bedrooms instead of the advertised two bedrooms. The grounds were excellent and the antelope roaming free gave the place a magical feel.

The sun terrace overlooks the pool and guest can relax on the lounge chairs in the garden. Local drinks are served at the Caribbean style bar. Thank you Rose for such great hospitality and for taking care of us. I give you 10/10

For relaxation, The Mount Grace Spa offers a floatation pool, steam room, outdoor hot tub and reflexology walkway. Massage treatments are offered and should be booked at least 48 hours in advance. the facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was one staff in particular, Duncan that was exceptional helpful.
