La Casona de Pio is the beautiful result of the renovation of a fish-salting factory, 100 metres from Cudillero Port. The property’s original stone walls look fantastic against classic furnishings, elegant woodwork and decor like that of a rural home.

Bedrooms feature flat-screen TVs. All the staff was awesome. From Desi at the front desk, Rosario at the restaurant and Alfredo at the kitchen!!!

Definitely would stay here again.

Montemar hotel is situated near Sablón beach, the seafront promenade San Pedro, the historical and artistic site La Basílica, and the walls of the old city. Relax in the hotel’s lounge at the end of a long days sightseeing or business. You can also play a round of golf on the local course. Everything was wonderful! From the spacious safe car park and welcome to the comfy king bed and lovely views out to the Medieval area of town and to the ocean. A few minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach to swim at. Many restaurants and bars nearby. 80 metres to a laundrette. The housekeeping was exceptional - extremely high standard. Relaxing terrace bar and incredible dinner at their sister hotel - an old convent about 2 mins walk away. Their Montemar app was very helpful not only for its link to specific google map directions but recommended driving itineraries in the Pico de Europa area.
