We wanted to truly experience Japan so we stayed in a tatamii own Onsen (mineral baths) which was lovely. My husband and I went to the Onsen daily. The hotel is centrally located. We came to Sapporo for the Ice and Snow Festival and it was a quick walk to the sculpture sites. The shopping streets and subway station is also just a quick walk. We highly recommend the La'gent hotel.

The room is very tastefully furnished in the style of a japanese guest house with tatami mats on the floor. It is equipped with all important amenities and complimentary water, tea and small snacks. Bath was one of the larger japanese standard cabins, with a big tub and more space than average.
