Very nice ryokan and perfect location : near the ferry port, and at 5min of a bus stop to take you everywhere on the island. The host explained to me everything and helped me organise my stay in Yakushima. He was so nice ! (And the bath was perfect after a day hiking!)

The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

Next is the location and the scenery that comes with it. It’s nestled in the mountains and every morning I wake up to the sounds of birds chirping, nice fresh air, and amazing mountain view when I look outside the window.
