It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Location was good. 10mins walk from kawaguchiko station, if not there is a bus stop right outside. Hotel also provides shuttle bus service to kawaguchiko Station.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. For family of 4, it is very good. Our only regret is that we wished we could have stayed another night but they were fully booked up. They gave us free tea cups as souvenirs and Mount Fuji pics when we checked out. this little gesture was sweet and memorable. From our room, we could sit and admire Mount Fuji view.

The breakfast was so clean and fresh. In room onsen was so good after walking around the lake and before the check-out to refresh you.

Kindness of the personnel and service. Cleanliness. Typical japanese house and commodities. Futon used to sleep but very comfortable. We were proposed to be driven to the station since no taxi was available because of the festival period.
