An exceptional stay located at the heart of Beppu. Close walk to everything Beppu related, especially the Jigoku Onsens. A lot of public baths all less than 5 minutes away by foot. Dining options a bit more limited but still a few very accessible ones up till midnight including a McDonalds as back up. Host was extremely nice, and very welcoming. Can purchase some discounted onsen tickets directly from her at great value. Can tell host really loves the neighbourhood and community and the map provided is extremely detailed with regards to the surrounding area. Could not recommend this place enough.

I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!
