Room was awesome, I had the Japanese style room with the garden view/patio, it was very spacious and comfortable, there's even a massage chair! The bathroom and onsen facilities were great, was clean and had everything you needed. Location was good, maybe 6mins to town, 15/20min to the village. It's a small town so easy to walk everywhere. Lawsons is next door and a bbq place around the corner which I didn't get a chance to try out. Kitchen is well stocked especially if you just want to eat something at the hotel (I couldn't find an izakaya that had space for walk ins - it was Sunday). Price is very reasonable!

Situated 41 km from Kinrinko Lake, Sanso Tensui offers 4-star accommodation in Hita and features an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace. We had delicious kaiseki dinner each night in a private room, each day with a fully new menu. Exciting and wonderful food experiences. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay phenomenal.

All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. The location is excellent if you plan to visit all the Hells of Beppu, everything is very close to the Ryokan. The place itself is pretty good and the Onsen has an amazing view of Beppu, you have to go during the night. I stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, so it is a given that the room was amazing, having a private onsen, both inside and outside, was amazing. The dinner course was wonderful, best sake I had during my trip.

This is our second time in this Beautiful hotel, With an ocean view and very spacious and confortable room including private onsen. Breakfast offers the best quality western and japanese food we had so far, personel is very helpfull. Strongly recommend this hotel.
