Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel- went to Starbucks instead! Loved our rooms, the onsen, the location which was five minutes from the station and ten minutes from the Bikan quarter. The front office staff were very helpful. We used the guest laundry and loved that we could track the progress of our wash on our room screen. Altogether a very classy stay.
Excellent location for walking to and from the train station and the Bikan Historic quarter, Ivy Square. Immaculately clean hotel, with excellent help and service from the staff. Delicious, generous breakfast , comfortable beds and use of a wonderful Onsen.
It was new and modern and bright with communal facilities such as a kitchen/dining area. The room was a good size with a really comfortable bed and all the amenities you needed. We didn’t chose the sea view room but I wish we had as they looked out over the harbour which would have been wonderful at night. As part of your stay you get free access to the nearby onsen which was a fantastic facility. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Naoshima as it is right next to the port.
Included onsen and basic drinks machine
It was perfectly situated to transport and the onsen was fantastic after a long day!!
Wonderful cosy little place, with lovely staff. Was excited to try out traditional Ryokan accommodation, and we found it very comfortable. Lovely breakfast, sabres kitchen and facilities.
Great location near the station, small but well equipped room, really helpful staff and great onsite onsen.
Really comfortable and private tatami with a beautiful garden. The bathing experience was also nice, felt like you could use it as an onsen. We had a lift to and from Uno port which helped a lot as we had really heavy baggage. The hosts were helpful in telling us what was open as it was a national holiday in Japan. I’ll definitely stay here again, I absolutely loved it! Thank you
Beautiful property and garden. Room was a comfortable size, nice to sleep on futons on tatami. Owner is very helpful and friendly. The kitchen is large and well-stocked so it's easy to prepare your own food here. It's also interesting to stay in a totally non-touristy area.
Staff was consistently warm and helpful. The futons were comfortable on our bodies. The salmon bagel offered in the breakfast menu was delicious. The place is modestly furnished but clean (and refreshed promptly) during our 5D/4N stay. Yukatas took out of the need to pack bed clothes. Price value is outstanding.
