This place is magical. One of the highlights of our 3 week Japan trip was staying at Ks. Everyone was friendly, the room was spotless, the communal areas were clean and well kept and the onsens fabulous. We had a family room and all slept very well on tatami mats and futons. We used both the private and public onsens. The room is spacious and the outlook over the stream at night is sensational. We were fortunate to be there when they had a fireworks display on the beach which was awesome.There is also a washing machine and dryer for 500yen which really helped having a family of 5. If you are looking for a traditional stay and a truly memorable experience this is it.

Breathtaking view, soothing hot water that is all mine-just-mine! The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, they have thought of everything really. Equipped with both a kettle and a coffee machine, multiple hair drying-styling equipment and amenities. The teppanyaki dinner was delicious and included gourmet choices of ingredients and drinks. Staff were extremely attentive and polite. A stay to remember for life.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Ideally located in the Izu Nagaoka Onsen district, this ryokan provides a terrace, as well as a hot tub. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Large place with different corridors which makes it feel a little mysterious. The dining room is very nice with a nice garden view. Food was excellent. Onsen was very good. All in all, nothing unique but a very very good ryokan.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The property has sea and inner courtyard views, and is 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

If you would rather not eat out, you can make use of the kitchen facilities. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Very nice spot, staff was very kind with good English and offers rides to Akazawa Onsen. Also had a few tips for the local area :)

Amazing romantic gateway. 10/10 Friendly staff. Amazing dinner and breakfast. Relaxing. Amazing bath.

A cozy Ryokan with around 8 rooms, each featuring a private outdoor hot spring and a communal one for families. There's a Family Mart just two blocks away. While soaking in the onsen on the patio, a cat came by seeking some pets – pretty amusing! The tranquility is fantastic. The Indonesian staff, fluent in English, made our stay incredibly seamless. They also provide complimentary beverages, including a couple of beers in the fridge.

The family history of the Property and Ryoken - such a beautiful story. Our dinner and breakfast host was wonderful, explaining to us each dish and answering our inquisitive questions about the ingredients, the local food and Japanese culture and traditions. The food - amazing. The chef is a magician! The train trip in along the coastline is wonderful. The private onsen - fabulous! We loved it!

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute bus ride away. The property offers pick-up service from Yugashima Bus Stop. It was such an exceptional experience. The staff were very nice and welcoming. They have taken care of us from the start check in to check out. They sent the luggages to our room, their dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious along with the river view very peaceful. And the onsens were great. We were appreciated that they even wiped down the windows for us because of the foggy weather. Thank you very much.
