the hotel is very nicely positioned and has comfortable rooms that are above average, what is very bad is that the level of privacy is at a very low level for such a hotel.

We all felt very safe in Zagreb, everybody was so kind.
We all felt very safe in Zagreb, everybody was so kind. Food was amazing. The trams were great and easy to hop on and off.
We visited the Lotrscak Tower one lunchtime and my god…..would recommend, it was brilliant. The museum of Broken Relationships was so interesting and so much to take away from this.
Our taxi driver back to the airport told us of the difficulties and sadness after the earthquake, the city is rising again and we loved it.

The city center is in good condition.
The city center is in good condition. But, if you decide to go outside of city center borders you will se a lot of garbage everywhere... apparently, as I was informed, it is due to the new mayer's orders on how to dispose trash and, obviously, it is not working... Hopefully they will solve this issue soon. Otherwise, I love Zagreb. I frequently visit Croatia, I always land in Zagreb and would recommend it to anyone looking for a city escape.

Zagreb is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and modernity. Nestled between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and the banks of the Sava River, Zagreb offers a picturesque setting. Its historic Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is characterized by cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and landmarks such as St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower. The Lower Town (Donji Grad) contrasts with a more modern atmosphere, featuring elegant 19th-century buildings, lively squares like Ban Jelačić Square, and cultural institutions like the Croatian National Theatre. Zagreb is known for its green spaces, with parks and gardens providing peaceful retreats amidst the urban bustle. The city also boasts a rich cultural scene, with museums, galleries, theaters, and a thriving café culture. Throughout the year, Zagreb hosts various festivals, events, and markets, showcasing its dynamic spirit and welcoming atmosphere.

Initially finding our way to the Dolac market (it was towards the end of the day so fruit and vegetables were cheaper) was via a bus and then a tram (best to travel with local currency in coins as public transport is very cheap), however as we explored the public transport network via the tram route it was a faster way to travel into and out of the city from where we stayed at m-blok. Catching a bus and tram back to the city to hire a car was seamless on our last day. Getting to and from places is very easy once you know where you're going so a car is unnecessary in Zagreb. You can buy bus/tram tickets at Tsik kiosks located close to public transport or on the bus/tram. Note that most coffee cafe's only sell coffee and not food. We enjoyed food from Pekara Dubravica 'home of the finest snacks'. They have a great chicken salad, three different types of burek and more. We ate at II Secondo (reasonable price and big serves), Burger Bar and Burger and Beer Bar Mrav (cheaper eats and big serves).

If you wanna be welcome ,don't come.
If you wanna be welcome ,don't come. I am saying this as a homegrown Zagrebian. I always feel unwelcomed, and I was born here :)
If you're passing through, by all means.
Foreigners generally like Zagreb, but if you're up for a good time, fun, music, company, just don't come. It's not worth the trip and it's not worth your money. Remember this capital is not treating it's own people well.
Go somewhere where the citizens are respected and foreigners are warmly welcome. Y'all have great stayings and safe journeys!

Zagreb is a great city ,transport very good easy to use and every kiosk sells trams tickets 56cents for 30 mins accross town and can be bought in various mins including a day ticket to travel from early morning to till night . there is a city bus that takes you to the airport for 1.12 euros you get a tram walk a few mins and pick up a bus so can be done cheaply, there is an 8 euro bus journey to/from the bus station and then a tram from there to centar and you know you have arrived as its like a big square with shops and resturants around it and on the right a of square the tourist office. A lot of the Churchs/Cathederal and palaces were not open to the public since the earthquake in 2020 still under repair as are a lot of buildings with minor damages. Lots of resturants to eat every where reasonably priced, the best shopping was in the area around the main train station there is an underground shopping mall and lots to choose from down there. .
Perfect location, 1 min from the city center, walking distance from every landmark, but still located in a quite area! The rooms are spacious, everything is perfectly clean, and the breakfast was delicious. But the most important thing, and what makes this place so special is the staff!! Warm, kind, funny, interested in their guests, great tips for visiting the city and always attentive to whatever need you may have! This place is now on the top of my come-back-hotel list!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!
Hotel is in a convenient location, very easy to get to by car and walk from there to the city center. Room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities. Bathroom had a very nice, large shower. View over the wider city, I assume that rooms on the other side of the building have nicer view over Gornji Grad (Old Town). Staff very friendly and helpful, all compliments. Ordered room service for dinner, which was excellent, some great food delivered very quickly.
Great hotel just off the main road which means it was quiet with no traffic noise. Great breakfasts with huge selection. Very comfortable and friendly. Room and bed was lovely. Very good value for money. The city centre was an interesting short walk or tram ride if you wish. The owner gave us a great tip to enable us to get to Zagreb airport cheaply, catch a local bus which took 25 mins and cost 80 cents each! Well recommended.
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel team did a wonderful job, besides being kind and flexible. We booked the half board and I think it was worth it. The room was great, good size and beds were comfortable. The location was great, about 15 min-walk from the city centre and 20 min car ride from the airport. Uber works great for moving from the airport to the hotel. The breakfast was modest but very good!
The location is the best thing about this hotel. It’s in the middle of upper town and you can walk everywhere on foot. And if you need to go further there’s a tram stop a 3min walk away.
The staff a very nice and helpful, and breakfast is included! A great way to start your day!
The beds are comfortable and the shower has good water pressure. Our room was clean, and they cleaned it everyday during our stay.
The room was very comfortable: there was plenty of space and we were upgraded for free, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast is good value for money at 8€ and very complete. We also dined at the hotel and the food was ok. The hotel is 1 km away from the city center but there is a tram stop close by and you can buy your ticket inside the tram, which is very convenient.
This hotel was perfect-the best of our vacation by far! It had the perfect location with a beautiful, modern, and very quiet room on the top floor, facing away from the busy street, just as I had requested. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I only wish that all of our hotels on this trip count be so wonderful!
The hotel is located within walking distance to the best things Zagreb has to offer: trams, cafes and people. This is my third trip to Zagreb, first time, stayed in a hotel - comfy and clean; second time a hostel - comfy, people, but this time around it felt like staying at home with the comforts and beautiful decors of a hotel.
Happy with our stay, it was up to a level you’d expect from a Hilton hotel. The room was comfortable, newly furnished and clean. We liked the breakfast selection as there was quite a large variety to choose from. They offer paid parking in a garage or a parking lot as well, which is convinient being so close to the city center.
I really liked the Hotel location, I was surprised by the simplicity to use public transportation to take us to the city center (in a few minutes) and to the shopping malls / sports arenas in the other direction. Room vas very clean and tidy and the breakfast was ok (no luxury but enough of good fresh food)
The location of the hotel is great, right in the city center of Zagreb.
The hotel does not have an elevator, but the staff is very nice and helpful ,they helped us with the luggage.
Good breakfast.
The hotel has an arrangement with a Taxi company with a fixed and low price to and from Zagreb airport.
We stayed in this hotel for the second time as it is in a great location, out of the city center and close to Medvednica. The place is like you walking into a historical museum. Each room is decorated differently and all in baroque style. We're surely coming back.
The hotel is conveniently located. Quick access to the city center and ideal location for further travel in Croatia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces at the hotel. Good breakfast and four-legged friendliness. Highly recommend!
This hotel is located in a quiet residential area, an easy tram ride away to the city centre. The housekeeping team here were top class as were the guys on reception. I had a very comfortable though small single room. Great value stay for a solo traveller.
This hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it a good stop off point after a late flight before an onwards journey. Overall it felt safe and the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
Maja, the sales person, is amazing. She deserves a raise. Whole staff is amazing. Very comfortable stay. Close to the city center. All you practically need is close by. I really loved this hotel.
The hotel is, 2 min walking from the the city center and that's really nice to visit the city.
We required assistance for a small issue and they directly helped us to fix it.
Location is perfect, you can reach everywhere in city center by short walk, hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast was good enough, we liked the welcoming chocolates as well
Great hotel close to Zagreb city center. The rooms are very comfortable, great buffet breakfast and friendly personnel. Everything feels new and stylish.
