the hotel is very nicely positioned and has comfortable rooms that are above average, what is very bad is that the level of privacy is at a very low level for such a hotel.

One of the best mattresses I have slept on lately. Also, it's in a great neighborhood—possibly the best we visited in Zagreb. The city center is about 10-15 minutes away by Uber, but very easily reachable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Zagreb and choose not to stay in the city center.

The only capital city in the world with a ski world cup race, Zagreb sits over 120 metres above sea level and boasts typical Central European architecture: cobbled streets, impressive public buildings and well laid out greenery.
Built around two medieval settlements with the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) being its core, the city skilfully combines modern attractions with well-established favourites. Start your day at the Museum of Contemporary Art, then have a stop at the Zagreb Cathedral or make a wish at the Old Town Gate. The locals say it will be granted!

To get a different perspective on the city, climb Medvenica, a mountain over 1000 metres tall overlooking Zagreb, and admire the views while sipping famous Croatian wine. And while you’re there, don’t forget to visit the Medvedgrad fortress.

Zagreb is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and modernity. Nestled between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and the banks of the Sava River, Zagreb offers a picturesque setting. Its historic Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is characterized by cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and landmarks such as St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower. The Lower Town (Donji Grad) contrasts with a more modern atmosphere, featuring elegant 19th-century buildings, lively squares like Ban Jelačić Square, and cultural institutions like the Croatian National Theatre. Zagreb is known for its green spaces, with parks and gardens providing peaceful retreats amidst the urban bustle. The city also boasts a rich cultural scene, with museums, galleries, theaters, and a thriving café culture. Initially finding our way to the Dolac market (it was towards the end of the day so fruit and vegetables were cheaper) was via a bus and then a tram (best to travel with local currency in coins as public transport is very cheap), however as we explored the public transport network via the tram route it was a faster way to travel into and out of the city from where we stayed at m-blok. Catching a bus and tram back to the city to hire a car was seamless on our last day. Getting to and from places is very easy once you know where you're going so a car is unnecessary in Zagreb. You can buy bus/tram tickets at Tsik kiosks located close to public transport or on the bus/tram. Note that most coffee cafe's only sell coffee and not food. We enjoyed food from Pekara Dubravica 'home of the finest snacks'. They have a great chicken salad, three different types of burek and more. We ate at II Secondo (reasonable price and big serves), Burger Bar and Burger and Beer Bar Mrav (cheaper eats and big serves).

If you wanna be welcome ,don't come.
If you wanna be welcome ,don't come. I am saying this as a homegrown Zagrebian. I always feel unwelcomed, and I was born here :)
If you're passing through, by all means.
Foreigners generally like Zagreb, but if you're up for a good time, fun, music, company, just don't come. It's not worth the trip and it's not worth your money. Remember this capital is not treating it's own people well.
Go somewhere where the citizens are respected and foreigners are warmly welcome. Y'all have great stayings and safe journeys!

Zagreb is a great city ,transport very good easy to use and every kiosk sells trams tickets 56cents for 30 mins accross town and can be bought in various mins including a day ticket to travel from early morning to till night . there is a city bus that takes you to the airport for 1.12 euros you get a tram walk a few mins and pick up a bus so can be done cheaply, there is an 8 euro bus journey to/from the bus station and then a tram from there to centar and you know you have arrived as its like a big square with shops and resturants around it and on the right a of square the tourist office. A lot of the Churchs/Cathederal and palaces were not open to the public since the earthquake in 2020 still under repair as are a lot of buildings with minor damages. Lots of resturants to eat every where reasonably priced, the best shopping was in the area around the main train station there is an underground shopping mall and lots to choose from down there. .

The city is an easy city to travel around especially if you are central. Transport is good. The down side is the airport bagage claim, the airport lack of announcements for delayed flights and the fact that places of interest are closed on Easter and Easter Monday.

We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful.
We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful. So many green spaces, parks ,statues, sculptures and gorgeous architecture. Lots to see for free. It’s an easily walkable area but the transit is amazing and so affordable! There are so many museums to choose from. I really enjoyed the Museum of Broken Relationships, it was funny and sad and made me cry a few times, but was really unique. We also enjoyed being in the Stone Tower when the canon was fired. The gunner? or artillery man was a real treat . We were amazed by the Mirogoj cemetery and the Botanical gardens were lovely. Our favourite meal was at Stari Fijaker 900. Great food, service and historical ambiance.
Hotel is in a convenient location, very easy to get to by car and walk from there to the city center. Room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities. Bathroom had a very nice, large shower. View over the wider city, I assume that rooms on the other side of the building have nicer view over Gornji Grad (Old Town). Staff very friendly and helpful, all compliments. Ordered room service for dinner, which was excellent, some great food delivered very quickly.
Beautiful new hotel in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean, the entire hotel looks amazing and it’s tastefully decorated. The best part of our stay was also definitely the staff. They are really kind and breakfast is lovely. There is a sauna but we haven’t used it and they have a terrace at the back with a view of Zagreb. If you want a boutique hotel experience and a peaceful stay, this is it.
The room was very comfortable: there was plenty of space and we were upgraded for free, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast is good value for money at 8€ and very complete. We also dined at the hotel and the food was ok. The hotel is 1 km away from the city center but there is a tram stop close by and you can buy your ticket inside the tram, which is very convenient.
We stayed at this hotel as it was close to the airport. 10 minutes by car so we did not expect to be in a central location. However we were able to take a bus into old town which was fairly direct and a 20 minute ride for 6 kuna each. the bus stop is on the main road close to hotel. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good.
We liked everything.. was exceptional, the room was amazing, so big and comfortable, with so much technology and every is so easy. even if it we did not take the breakfast, everything was amazing. Was our best hotel in Croatia. It’s incredible that this was the most cheap but the best far away hotel we stayed in.
Excellent über trendy boutique hotel just off Zagreb central square . Superb luxurious bedroom/bath room with overall standard of accommodation 1st class true 5star luxury . Food in restaurant was superb and service in both restaurant ,bar and reception again all excellent .
Highly recommended .
We loved the gym and spa at this hotel, the spa area was lovely, gym small but had what we needed. The surrounding area had lots of bars and restaurants, nearby supermarkets. The tram stop was around a 5 minute walk, you could walk into the city centre but it was probably half an hour walk.
the hotel is very close to the city center, nice and very clean, not far from the Chabad Jewish center which was awesome, Katarina and Demian were so helpful with information about the National parks city’s and Taxis, one of the best service I’ve experienced in any hotel!!
Clean, comfortable, quite room with everything needed for a few days stay. Kind and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the buss station therefore convenient to reach the airport. Around 15-20 minutes walk from the city center which was also convenient for me.
Everything was amazing. The location is perfect, in the quiet residential neighborhood, with cca. 15 mins of walking distance from the city center. There is a wide choice for breakfast, and the hotel restaurant is very good and also available for other meals.
Well; you feel at home. It is a small place. They know you by your name and make sure you have all you need. The hotel is tip top! Location in a quiet place but 5 minutes from the main street. It is 15 minutes walk from nature… and close to museums.
still my favorite hotel in Zagreb!!! best friendly staff beginning from reception till restaurant:) Nikola greetings for best waiter. everybody from staff is waiting to help you but in not offensive style. real Croatian style in nice edition:)
We had some technical problem in our room we booked. Had contacted the reception, and the problem was solved in only 5 min. We got the best room in the hotel with the view. Superb staff, atmosphere and ambient. Would come again definitely!
Easy to drive from there to the city centre.
The hotel itself is simple, but well maintained. Don't expect luxury or a refined decoration, but on the other hand, you will get a good accomodation for a decent price.
The hotel is right in the city center. The location is very good. The potential of the hotel is great, too bad that there has not been a serious investment for it. Lovely terace for breakfast.
Great hotel close to Zagreb city center. The rooms are very comfortable, great buffet breakfast and friendly personnel. Everything feels new and stylish.
