The location was an easy walk from the dock and right in the middle of town. We departed a Viking cruise and then spent the afternoon and overnight in Choggia departing the next day by public bus to the airport. Bus stop also an easy walk. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff responded quickly to my enquires by email and were very helpful with info on the bus to the airport.
Featuring city views, Casa di Lucia provides accommodation with balcony, around 400 metres from Sottomarina Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Room was lovely very comfortable & modern in a quiet neighbourhood. The gentleman running the B&B was very accomodating & helpful showing us to the parking area.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go. Easy to get food. Nice beaches, although the see was a bit rough and not that clean for the second part of our trip.
There is a lot of small concerts and activities. Parking can get expensive, but you can leave your car towards edge of town for few euros. You don't need car around the town.

Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again.
Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again. Its generally only substitute of Venice globally but even better as 90% of people are local and prices are far less. One can take a boat ride to Venice if needed but there is a lot to explore in Chioggia and Sottomarina. Restaurants are a lot better then in Venice and at the canal. For info you can have 1 capucho and 1 expresso for 2.80e in Chioggia standard coffee place on main street.

We found Chioggia to be a clean and vibrant town, unfortunately we had to leave just before one of the local festivals was to take place, its not too crowded and very picturesque. Ideally situated if you wanted to visit Venice as its only a 1.5hr boat ride away.
Lots of restaurants a high percentage specialising, not surprisingly, in local caught fish.
Easily explored on foot or on a hire bike, the beach in Sottomarina is huge.

Chioggia is a beautiful historic (UNESCO) city - with all the charm and character of Venice but on a small scale and without the large crowds. A day out to Venice is easily done with a boat trip from Chioggia and the boat trip around Venice lagoon is definitely well worth the 10 euros.
Chioggia is ideal for holiday makers who want to avoid tourism hotspots and enjoy a romantic holiday with a warm/friendly atmosphere, well priced tasty food and genuine Italian hospitality.
Plenty to do and see and perfect for relaxing with an Aperol Spritz by the canals as folk promenade in the warm evening, tempered by a light sea breeze.

Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian...
Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian lagoon in Northern Italy. It is often referred to as "Little Venice" because of its canals and bridges, and it is known for its vibrant fishing industry, historic buildings, and delicious seafood cuisine.
One of the most striking features of Chioggia is its colorful and charming architecture. The town's narrow streets are lined with buildings painted in shades of pink, yellow, and blue, and many of the houses have ornate balconies and intricate facades. Visitors can stroll along the canal promenade, taking in the stunning views of the water and the historic buildings.
Another must-see attraction in Chioggia is its fish market, which is one of the largest and busiest in Italy. Visitors can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and then browse the stalls selling an incredible variety of fresh seafood, including prawns, squid, clams, and mussels.
Foodies will also love Chioggia's restaurants, which offer delicious seafood dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Some popular local specialties include sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines), risotto di gò (risotto with goby fish), and granseola (spider crab).
Overall, Chioggia is a wonderful destination for travelers who are looking for a unique and authentic Italian experience. Its stunning architecture, bustling fish market, and delicious seafood cuisine make it a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the Venetian lagoon

Chioggia is a perfect little getaway from the crowds in Venice. It has a similar feel to Venice with the canals and buildings, but it's not nearly as crowded and loud. The food is good, and the beach is very easy to access!
Central location, close both to Chioggia and the beaches by walk. Bars, restaurants, shops nearby. Very spacious and very clean apartment, ideal for max. 3 people.
Nice and helpful owners, whenever we asked something they replied quickly and sent us their advices.
Nice terrace. Parking possibilities nearby (5min walk) costs 15-17 euros/day.
Washing machine on the ground floor in a common laundry room.
Aircon it the living room-kitchen only, but it works well, so if you want to cool down the bedroom, just leave the door open.
The apartment is renovated and all the interior is brand new. It's located 5 minutes walk from the very centre of Chioggia. At night it was quiet. The hygiene is on a top level. I had no trouble even though alregic to dust. A nice view to the sea. The host was very helpfull and incredibally pleasant. There are boat trips to Venice, Murano, Burano starting from 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Safe private parking is 5 minutes from the apartment. All in all a very nice experience, that exceeded my expectations.
Everything was perfect. Owner was waiting for us in front of building to welcome us. Lives next door which, in case of need, easy to contact. Location perfect as it’s an easy walk to Chioggia and parking in front of the lodging. Room was spotless as was the entrance, dining room, entrance hall etc. l within 5 min walk you have Leo’s pizzaria which is unique and sells its product by the kilo. Excellent! Very good coffee shops next door. Happy to highly recommend Casa Mafalda and its location on Sottomarina.
Spacious, beautiful and well equipped apartment. High ceilings and good furniture give you a pleasant feeling of comfort and tranquility. A nice balcony looks out at town roofs. Beach and cafes are nearby. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We had bikes with us, so one day we embarked on a bike-and-boat trip to Venice and back through islands Pellestrina and Lido, which was an interesting experience.
The hotel Duomo is a lovely small hotel. It is located in the center of Chioggia opposite the Duomo. It deserves far more than the one star rating. The rooms are stylish, the bathroom modern and comfortable. Breakfast is served at the bar below the hotel. Try the spremuta and the fluffy brioche. A big compliment also goes to the staff, who were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful and charming B & B. The rooms are very comfortable, cozy and beautifully decorated, with a lot of love and care. Graziella and Umberto were the warmest and kindest people we encountered during our entire trip to Italy! We felt truly at home and will definitely visit again.!
Our hosts, Roberto and his daughter Giovanna, were super nice and welcoming. We had some issues with the key and they were always reachable and immediately there to help! We also loved that the place had bikes freely available for us to use - fantastic and perfect for the 5min ride to the beach!
Been to Italy about 1000 times but never had a caring host like Michele. The Appartment was very clean and there was really everything you need. The breakfast was very nice and the Resraurants and sightseeing points , recommended by Michele also perfect. Thanks for everything. We enjoyed it🤗
Our stay at La Bricola was amazing due to the beautiful and perfectly clean apartment which is perfectly located in the very heart of Chioggia. The staff at La Bricola is very friendly and always ready to help. We will definitely visit Chioggia again and of course stay at La Bricola again.
Breakfast was kindly offered by the property. The location is superb. The room is immaculate and Mrs Mara is a great example of what perfect hospitality is all about. We'll definitely go back again to Casa Mara, you can't find anything better when travelling to Chioggia/Sottomarina.
Perfectly located in the heart of Chioggia. Is is also only a 10 minute walk to the Cruise Ship terminal. Giorgia was a wonderful host and quickly got back to us whenever we had a question or needed assistance. We will stay here again if we ever return to Chioggia.
This B&B is perfect in every way. Lorenzo is the best host who is so friendly and helpful! He truly cares and goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. If I ever find myself in Chioggia again I would not stay anywhere else! Thank you Lorenzo!
Great location, and good value for money. The room was exactly as described and the host was very helpful.
We got breakfast as well and the staff at the cafe were super nice.
Would definitely recommend and would go back next time we’re in Chioggia.
This is a very beautiful classic hotel. The staff run the hotel in a very professional way. Our room overlooked Vigo Bridge and the lagoon. Such an atmospheric square with people coming and going from the ferry! This is the view from our room.
Super clean, calm and well equipped and perfect location to the ship yard and the beach, i really enjoyed spending a week here
The landlord super nice and helpful
Good connection transport to Venice every half an hour ( bus number 80)
Clean and tidy apartment, good breakfast, friendly hosts. The location is good, a long walk to the center of Chiogia. Sottomarina beach a few hundred meters away. I definitely recommend it.
Perfect location in the old Chioggia close to many restaurants, the ferry to Venice etc . Very good communication before arrival. 2 bikes included. Parking about 500m in a safe garage.
This hotel has been a highlight for our motorcycle tour of Italy. The staff, location and accommodations all were fantastic. And they gave the Ducatis VIP treatment
