It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay.
The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

It's a good location for using as homebase and then doing roadtrips every day in the surrounding area.
City center also looks very nice with quite renovated buildings. A walk near the Danube river during the day is also great.

Awesome and hospitable people. We got very late due to a traffic jam at the border. Thankfully we were still expected and welcomed despite arriving past 4am in the morning. The room was spacious and looked clean and the private parking in front of the hotel had enough space so one less hassle to solve (especially 4am :)) if you are just passing amidst your trip. We were served a nice freshly made English breakfast after we woke up, there was no buffet but they asked us what we would like to have.
The stuff of the hotel was just as welcoming and well intentioned as previous times we stayed here. Easy access and online accommodation availability, it was very helpful since we arrived late at night. Very well documented emails given before arrival, with all information needed. Fair breakfast, all range of products available even at closing time. Coffee available in the lobby all day long, this was really nice!
Very friendly and helpful staff, making important first impresseion.
Location of the hotel is convinient as close to the Serbian boarder
Swimming pool is clean and big/deep enough. Great relaxation after a day long ride
We were leaving early in the morning, it was so nice to receive full breakfast well packed!
Restaurant is great. People as well
The view is beautiful from the large open terrace at the fifth floor. Very clean. Awesome bed linens and very comfortable beds. Very good communication with the host. Easy to find the place. The place is equipped with everything you need. We really liked the place and we will choose this place for next travel to Drobeta Tr. Severin.
We loved it. The hotel looks amazing, it is squicky clean with an excellent mattress and wonderful hosts. I cannot praise it enough. Plus the value that you get for your money is outstanding. I would stay here any time I visit the city.
Pretty good location, easily accessible with big free parking. The room was fitted with everything you may need plus it had a big balcony. Generally good place to stay for a night when you travel between Serbia and Romania.
The hotel is not bad at all. For us, as we just needed to have a bad during our biketrip it was perfect.
The in-house restaurant is very nice an the stuff is young and mostly friendly. Food was delicious! Drinks are nice!
Location ok, close to the center. Close to some eating places. They have their own restaurant, the food was ok.
Some parking spaces on the street, in front of the hotel.
Refrigerator in the room, not mini bar.
Reception is opened 24/7 which was quite important for late night arrival. Rooms are typical for this class of hotel in central Europe and definitively better than in western Europe.
We appreciated the fact that our triple room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. It is very convenient that there is a 24 hour supermarket close to the hotel.
Very nice view (from the 6th floor it is really amazing), Parking in front of the hotel (but with a little extra cost), Late check in, Very friendly personal, Location
