I had a wonderful experience for 3 days in Sibiu. We had the best accommodation at Transylvanian Valley: central but very quiet location, welcoming rooms and a dreamy inner courtyard where we enjoyed our coffee. Actually everything here was great, and our host (Filip) really made the difference, even giving us recommendations about places in Sibiu. Transylvanian Valley is a place where you want to come back for sure.

Lovely old town with small and large square and lots of interesting and colorful architecture. I recommend to visit the Brukenthal National Museum and of course the beautiful bridge of lies (by night extra special). We travelled with our two dogs and saw no stray dogs in Sibiu.

We visited the upper and lower town, the city walls and took lots of pictures of the eyes of Sibiu. It’s a very walkable small city. We also visited, on the recommendation of our host, the Astra National Ethnographic Museum Complex. We ate traditional Romanian dishes and drank local craft beer at Restaurant La Bubu.

Some of the attraction to be seen in Sibiu: the Large Square, Brukenthal Museum, Liars’ Bridge, Evangelic Church, Citadel wall with 3 towers are just.
See Sibiu from above. The easiest way is to climb the council Tower in the main square of Sibiu.
Nearby: make sure not to miss the ethnography sections of the Astra Museum; Sibiu Zoo; The story of the calendar; The medieval fortress of Cisnadioara; Valea Zanelor Clay Castle; The upside down house
This was probably my favorite stay in Romania. Communication with staff was entirely electronic. You get a QR code to open doors. The AC was great, the room was very clean, cozy and comfy. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Outside you have access to a private terrace and quite inner courtyard, I did not spot a single soul while staying there. Location is close to the train station and the city center. The discount you get for the nearby restaurant is also great.
Home away from home, Damiani Boutique Hôtel is the finest family owned and family run hotel in the residential part of Sibiu, with all facilities for business and private short or mid-term stays. Breakfast Buffet is generously served every morning; ancestral Transylvanian delicacies and traditional recipes brought directly from local countryside producers. A true feast you will remember.
Location is perfect - just outside the historic centre of Sibiu. The room itself was gorgeous with beautiful frescos on the wall, spacious and well- equipped. The building is just a dream, super romantic.
Bathroom was clean and just large enough. Airco worked flawlessly, a big bonus in Romanian summers :-)
Someone came to pick us up and helped us find a (free!) parking spot just nearby.
The location was perfect, offering convenience without sacrificing tranquility. The room was spacious, providing ample space to unwind after a long day of exploring. It was remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Moreover, the bed was comfortable. The hotel had all the amenities .
Overall, I highly recommend
for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
One of the our best accomodatuon in Romania! We simply loved it!
Very cosy, clean, well equipped appartment.
Great location - just in the Old Town, close to everything.
Helpful host, contactless check-in, nice neighbours, lot of public parking places outside (not very expensive), fluffy rabbit jumping in the backyard;)
Thank you for the perfect stay!
Breakfast buffet was comprehensive, Car parking (charges extra) in front and free on streets (small) not far away. There is a Bar with affordable pricing, o.K. Not far away to walk downtown Sibiu. But this Hotel is located beside the busy main road. If arrive by car, it is great to leave and come back. But of course not all rooms could be silent.
The host was excellent! We stayed at multiple properties while in Romania and she was by far the most welcoming and accommodating. The room was very large by European standards and had all of the modern amenities you could need. The location was perfect for exploring Sibiu on foot.
Best hotel I used in Romania in a while. Might sound a bit weird but the shower has the right water pressure (very rare around the world 😁) which I liked a lot.
The bed was huge and very comfortable.
The location is fabulous - one can enjoy the historic center with no efforts.
It was a traditional house in the old town of Nagyszeben/Sibiu. Was great and impressive. Impressive of the feeling of owning a house in a wonderful town in Transylvania. It's a symbol of the Hungarian-Romanian friendship. Peace...
everything! literally top #1 accommodation we’ve ever stayed at in Romania! top conditions, top location, great breakfast and very friendly staff. wont ever choose smth else when coming back to sibiu!
Good breakfast.
Good food at restaurant Max, you may need reservation.
Close to the city centre.
If you're lucky you may find a parking spot in the back alley of the hotel.
