The owner was really lovely. He offered to give us lifts to the restaurant to my husband and our 4 years old son during night time when the buses were not running any more.
Every indicațion was well explained as he is great at marketing.
Very friendly host and really helpful.
We will for sure be back.
Rare kindness and good conditions for the money value.

Host was really friendly and offered to help with transport and finding our way in the area. She even left some fresh tomatoes and other local goodies for us. In addition to this, the apartment was extremely well equipped, much more than we would have even hoped for. The terrace/garden is absolutely phenomenal. We loved it.

Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi.
Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi. Close enough to Fiordo Di Furore that you can walk from there, although it can be a thought walk depending on where you start from, especially on the way back up.

We liked the location, as we had our own transport and could drive to other areas with beaches and shopping, it was so nice to come back to Furore which is perfect authentic Amalfi Coast Italy as the location is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. Could have stayed a little longer.

This is in a great location.
This is in a great location. It was more busy than I expected and driving around is tricky with the windy narrow roads. You will need to be brave to go out driving Olin the dark to get to restaurants at night.
The walk down the Fjord 600 steps is a great exercise for anyone

The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic.
The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic. We reached it by climbing down about 800 steps on the first day which was quite an amusing adventure.
Second day we went by bus to save our leg muscles !
The beach was so enjoyable with panoramic scenes of the bridge on top and the mountain in the back.
The water was so fresh and the beach boy provided comfortable chaise-long and drinks.
At night we had a delicious dinner at Fico D'India restaurant on top of the mountain, quire stylish with a great view of the sea during the day time.

Furore has beautiful views.
Furore has beautiful views. The location is about 400 meters above sea. There is not alot of activities so u must take the bus train or ferry. If you like more night life and activities then I would stay in one of the bigger towns like Almafi, Positano or Sorrento but if you like the peace and quiet and don't mind a little extra travel. This is good because keep in mind the bigger towns will be more expensive.

You do need a car to stay there - we did.
You do need a car to stay there - we did. Bus service not far from the hotel if you want to leave your car. Luigi helped as planning our day trips - excellent place to stay and explore the area. Will definitely recommend to stay here.
Amazing and kind hosts Luigi and his wife Iliana. As well as The hotel staff that made us feel at home. Luigi that served us, salvitore, lorenzo and more.
Beautiful property, stairs leading down to plenty of beach chairs to rest, a nice small pool / tub that guests csn use overlooking the sea, good restaurant at the hotel and its 3 minute walk from the amazing fiorde which is a private beach to swim in. Definately will come back one day!
Amazing breakfast included, thanks! Much love from milan and melissa
- brakefast was amazing. I was used to have a really light brakefast in Italy, but here was great
- personal is really nice, they are good people
- restaurant terrace is really nice, and awesome view. feels nicer than the room terrace
- good location, between Amalfi (aprox 25 min by car) and Positano (35 min). Sorrento and Napoli are also 1h away each
- I think its goos value for money considering prices in Amalfi coast with see view, but next time I would pay some extra money for a better hotel
Although Furore has no center as such, the hotel is very conveniently located, close to the supermarket and a bar where we had a couple beers at night. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served) are amazing, you get to see the coast and even the faraglioni. The host was very welcoming and nice, but although they are usually taken for granted, there are some rules specified in the room that he expects us to follow (use of towels and extra beds).
Firstly, we liked the attitude of the staff, I think it is the main power of this hotel. Guests are very well treated and cared about. Secondly, breakfast and restaurant food is great (lot of choice for seafood lovers). We are not specialists in local cuisine but we tried as many courses as possible and they were tasty and fresh. Thirdly, view outside the window and from the restaurant is great, we enjoyed it very much.
Fantastic view, apartment has so much space and a massive deck overlooking the ocean. Extremely clean everywhere up to hotel quality. Hosts were very accommodating and were always available. Free private parking. Mini market and top restaurants near by (make sure you go to Le Bonta del Capo - amazing view, great service and super value) and walkable to Fiordo di Furore beach. Car is a must to stay here though.
The hotel was nice. The views were remarkable. The breakfast was great. The staff was extremely helpful. The location requires a bus ride to get anywhere. I wouldn't rent a car on the amalfi coast. Maybe a scooter... Maybe.. and im a seasoned scooter and motorcycle rider. the amalfi coast is not an easy road to navigate. parking is provided for free at the hotel. The buses are frequent and reliable.
amazing location with stunning sea view. great staff, great restaurant. the room was a bit small and the decoration quite outdated but the place is clean, 4 minutes walk from the amazing Fiordi di Furore beach, they also have free parking for guests. there’s also a private access to the sea which is really nice, many sun beds and the sunsetssssss were out of the world! will definitely come back.
the hosts Angelone and Andrea were absolutely great. They were very nice and always made sure that our stay was being the best possible! lovely people.
Moreover the hotel was recently built and very well equipped. Our room was always very clean and had all the necessary commodities.
Last but not least the view of our room and the view from the balcony where we had breakfast was incredible.
- Room was very clean and comfortable. They also clean it daily. Bathroom amenities were provided.
- They have a restaurant downstairs that served good quality food. We ate there almost every night.
- Long hike up and down Fiore Di Furore
- Quiet area
- Private parking provided
- Breakfast was decent
- There is a shuttle that you can take to get to the main road to take the local buses
The place is simply great. The sea view was terrific. Our room was very clean. The property is fairly close to Amalfi, though you need to take a 30-minute drive to get there. On the other hand, it is quite close to lots of good restaurants in Furore and Agerola. By the way, Agerola is lovely. Angelo is very nice and helpful. Finally, the breakfast is superb.
The position way up in Furore meant it was peaceful away from the hurly burly of Amalfi. There were plenty of restaurants close by to choose from and the view was perfect. Clotilde couldn't have been more welcoming and breakfast on the balcony was the best we had on our short trip by far. The room was a good size, clean and peaceful.
Quiet and serene yet only 10 minute drive to the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast was splendid and dinner was mouth watering. Staff was very nice, beautiful grounds with stunning views from dining area. Although the climb to the top is 100 steps or so, they were not steep and thankfully the hotel had a lift for our luggage. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located at the highest part of a mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast.
The view is amazing and the restaurant is offering local products and support the slow food initiative.
Gourmet food and local food, can it get any better?
The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Andrea and his wife did an amazing job, everything was on point, they were always there to help with any questions we had. Highly recommend their hotel for an Italian trip!
The most picturesque, stunning, unique, romantic, and gorgeous seaside hotel I’ve EVER been to. Worth every penny. The staff and breakfast is equally as exceptional. I wish all stats could be like this.
it had a spectacular view the owner was amazing he even drove us to the shop to buy bus tickets so we could get around. must have dinner at the hotel 10/10. breakfast every morning was great
Our stay at da Clotilde made our trip to the Amalfi Coast even more unforgettable. The experience exceeded our expectations, Clotilde made us feel at home.
