Excellent hotel. Friendly helpful staff who speak good English.
Good breakfast. Traditional hotel with traditional but elegant decor. Secure parking. Reception not attended in Afternoon so important to ring for passcode for door.
I would have 2 suggestions to make it better. Small fridge in room to cool water or cool water dispenser in common area would be most welcome. Secondly (and eventually) please provide a car charging point at some time in the future. Few hotels seem to have them. EV owners look for hotels that offer charging so good for business.

Its a lovely small town with great restaurants and bars but not noisy or overcrowded when we visited in October. It was still hot enough to swim. We also hired bikes and you can easily cycle for many miles along a cycle path along the coast to Viareggio and beyond

Located in the middle of Versilia with the bustle of Viareggio and the sophistication of Forte dei Marmi 5km to the south and north MDP has it's own friendly vibe with a lovely stretch of beach (private) and a centre (Tonfano) with plenty of restaurants, gelateria and bars plus shops. Don't miss the Saturday market and visit Capriccio for the best ice cream and Da Carlino for a great meal but you'll need to book ;-)

Second trip here, once in May, shoulder season, perfect!
Second trip here, once in May, shoulder season, perfect! July is HOT and more people but the magnificent little coastal town is all you want in Holiday. Good food, wonder beaches, good shopping and easy access to the train and bus to the rest of Italy, if you want to leave! Forte di Marma is a 15 minute bike ride (great bike lanes) Viareggio is a 20 minute bike ride and Pietrasanta itself 10 minute bike ride. Rotation of large public art pieces is a treat!

If you are a tourist it is difficult to figure out this town...
If you are a tourist it is difficult to figure out this town. Menu’s are rarely displayed outside of restaurants, you need to go inside and find a waiter to see if they have a spare table, even on weekdays every restaurant seems to be fully booked until at least 10pm, most restaurants serve the same dishes which is seafood variations, and the waiters don’t speak any English or appear to favour locals over the few tourists. Restaurants by the beach are more expensive - gnocchi was £28 in one of them! I’d advise asking your hotel to book ahead restaurants for you if you see some you like and check what time siestas are as we stayed for five days and could never get in any restaurants before they seemed to close at midday. You’ll need to be a good walker to get from one side to the other - our hotel was in the middle and it was around a 40 minute walk from there to each town and a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. I’d advise hiring a bike or a car to get anywhere. We felt five days was enough for us - the food was nice but expensive and we’re not big fans of seafood, and the beach is around £30 to rent beds for a day. We weren’t informed of any attractions to visit so there was little to do other than sunbathe at our hotel.

Very good place also for children to play around.

Staff is super polite. One of the most kind people you can find. The outdoor space is lovely to enjoy a drink in the hot summer nights. There are two buildings: the villa, which is beautiful monument work of art and the annex building which is quite simple. We recommend to stay in the villa :) Breakfast area is so peaceful and authentic. If you would like to avoid big hotels that usually can offer more luxury stay and to deep dive to fully feel the local spirit this is your place. At a 5min. walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach.
The staff is incredibly friendly. Free bikes for rental was a great plus. The common spaces are really nice and seem newly refreshed, including a nicely furnished garden space. The location is ideal for Marina di Pietrasanta.
Each room, even the small ones, has a really large balcony. Even without a sea view, the Mountain view is lovely, especially in the morning. The AC was great. Shower was large and had great water pressure even on a high floor!
I can only recommend this super cute, family owned hotel right at the beach!
The whole staff, especially Nico, are so friendly and helpful! The breakfast is amazing with everything you need and the Nonna who makes the coffe!! Our room was always clean and spacious and right at the beachfront so we got to see the sunset every evening . We really enjoyed our time and we will definitely come back!
We booked a deluxe room and it was really nice, we loved it, it had a huge balcony with a beautiful sea view, sun beds, parking was free and there were enough spaces, it was just a 5 minute walk to the beach, staff at the reception was really nice, helpful and friendly, our dog was allowed to the hotel and beach as well, pool seemed to be nice but we didn’t use it
The hotel is in a beautiful location by the sea and the beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms with a terrace and a view of the sea. They clean every day and the cleaners are always smiling. A large terrace on the roof of the hotel, with deckchairs and a nice view. It's not the season yet , no crowds and we liked it. See you again.

This is a lovely 3 star hotel in Marina di Pietrasanta. Location was excellent across from the beach. Excellent views from the terrace and the pool. Rooms were a decent size and had everything in them. Comfortable beds. We’d a Mountain View room, which while you couldn’t see the sea, it was an impressive view. Excellent serving and cleaning staff.
An excellent beachfront hotel near the pier in Marina di Pietrasanta. Clean, comfortable, and budget priced with an excellent breakfast and even free parking and bike rentals. Lots of shops and restaurants in the pedestrian area steps from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a relaxing weekend by the sea.
Right on the beach, amazimg location about 50 m from the main street full of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel has private parking.
The staff was superfriendly, kind and helpfull!!
The apartment is very nice, nothing luxurious, but we had everything we needed and it has a very good price / value.
From the photos it looks like yet another boring old and dusty italian cheap hotel, but actually we were surprised that in reality the rooms look much nicer. Very close to the beach, air conditioning works amazing!! Really can’t complain and at a good price! Will absolutely come back here.
Perfect little hotel for those who only need a place to stay and don't require the hotel to be a place they spend time in. Rooms are comfy and cheap and the facilities and basic and perfect for what you need if you are looking for perfect location ease if access and friendly homey staff
Easy to find and close to beach (we paid to use a private bagno Battelli for the day - one tent for 4 people was €70)
Clean
Breakfast basic but fresh
Free safe car parking at back
