Wow! What an incredible stay. Everything at Domia is intentional and full of meaning. The breakfast, the rooms, the restaurant, the pool - all outstanding. The room offers all the facilities you could need (plus a balcony with stunning views) and the entire hotel is designed in an appealing, thoughtful way. Together, these elements make for an unforgettable experience.
The highlight of our trip was the incredible staff who were so friendly and made our trip outstanding. We were treated like 5 star guests throughout our entire trip, whether in the restaurant (the breakfast is out of this world), sipping an aperitivo at the poolside or simply walking to our room. We were always greeted with smiles and cheery conversation (in English, French or Italian - whatever your preference). I have a gluten and lactose intolerance and this was noted at every possible point, with the restaurant offering adaptations and staff offering me gluten free biscuits with my coffee!
One of the best trips I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We cannot wait to return!

You need to walk 20 minutes for the sandy beach or 8 minutes with bus. (there is an option for non sandy beach around 500 meter, but we do not tried it).
The room size is big and breakfast is about 90% sweet pastry so good for kids.

Mondello has a lot to offer anyone, from singles, young and old, families and retirees. We went in early May, so the weather was a bit on the cool side, but there was still plenty of people on the beach. The crowd size at that time of year was manageable. There are plenty of places to eat and we enjoyed good food. It is a very walkable area. It is not a far drive from Palermo City Center (average 30 -40 minutes depending on traffic).AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Sand beach, free next to the water. Wonderful view from the beach. We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Fab breakfast, home baked cakes every morning with a huge choice of goodies incl eggs anyway you like i.e. poached, scrambled, omelet's etc. Quiet location but within a very short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre ... Beautiful scenery, close to Palermo, sandy beaches and few local restaurants. We were out of season so I am sure it's more buzzing during the summer. There was a great restaurant with fresh sea food just across the Art Hotel.

Mondello has all the capabilty to be a first-rate tourist destination: the sandy beach, the transparent clear water, the landscape, the old villas. I just can't understand why they can't keep the streets clean to match the natural environment. The rubbish almost ruins everything.

Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants...
Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants and a beautiful beach! It is only a 30 min bus ride away from Palermo and the busses are cheap and easy to navigate. It is not a party town, but was perfect for us as the beach was a 5 minute walk away as were many nice cafes and restaurants. We walked out to Capo Gallo, which was really beautiful and great to be able to jump into the ocean for a quick cooling down.SigrúnUnited Kingdom

Our children just loved it. Staff were very friendly, good self service breakfast and the lunch offering was brilliant - we had a family room which was a great size and layout, we came on our way back from elsewhere in Sicily for 2 nights before we flew home and was a good choice for that. Also close enough to Palermo to drive/taxi in the evening and explore the city.

The owner Angela is super nice and was always there to help us with any questions. The whole team of the hotel was exceptionally friendly and we felt very welcome during our stay. The hotel itself is very modern and cozy at the same time - it‘s in a very quiet area, but it only took us max. 5 minutes to reach the beach or the center of Mondello. It is a room in an apartment in a block of flats located very close to the beach (across the road). The home was very clean, the host very friendly and ready to help when needed. Forr a short stay it's ok. The price is much cheaper compared to the hotels and the surrounding airbnbs. I personally could not have stayed there more than 3 days (feeling locked in a box). The location is ok because it is close to the sea.

The host was very friendly and accomodating, Guiseppe helped us organised transport to go to the coach station to grab our tickets to the Seattle outlets and also the Airport for the journey back. Note, cabs take forever to book and rarely visible on the Cab apps. Better to pre-book everything.

The B&B is perfectly located both near the beach, bus station towards Palermo city center, restaurants and pastry shops. Manuel, the host, is very kind and helpful. She prepared a crazy good breakfast for us every morning. The house is clean, the rooms are big and very nice furbished.
