Staff and Owners invited us into their very special hotel with grace and utmost care. Great advice for novice walkers, they gave us privacy to enjoy the hotel and its facilities yet welcomed us as extended family.

This place is fantastic on all points! It's a family run business and you can tell from the attention to detail and level of service!
The location is stunning and it's the perfect walking distance to many restaurants (our favourite was Tender) and a 5min walk to the fantastic beach!
Breakfast is served in the romantic garden with the backdrop of a stunning cathedral. (Breakfast can also be served indoors in the equally beautiful kitchen setting which is really beautiful and authentic.)
The location in general, and rooms, are impeccably clean and comfortable and have all of the necessary amenities. We even had a retractable clothes line in our bathroom which was super helpful to dry off swim suits/ shorts after a day in the beach.

Moneglia was magnificent…..away from the bustling crowds of the Cinque Terra.
The apartment and the views from the balcony were outstanding.
The apartment was spotless and we would certainly recommend anyone to stay there rather than the Cinque Terra villages
The bed was also very comfortable.

We had never heard of his place and said there to read a long drive from Rome. Moneglia is sort of an island reached by way of one-way tunnels. Once there it is a very cosy and small resort with much space for walking, bars and restaurants. We loved the Sunday morning street market and the locals were lovely.

It hasn't changed much in 50 years , very nice village hope it ll stay the same for like forever. Went there for a week made of quality time and relaxed strolling around the village , sitting on benches under a tree early afternoon or walking uphill on the way back to hotel at dusk ,rewarded by the gorgeous view of the bay once you get there . Food rolls back the years as I have Genoan heritage so had to be careful not to indulge too much with focaccia or pansotti or fritue... .

Moneglia is a charming little town in Liguria. It has a large sandy beach which is perfect for small children. Everything is within walking distance. Lots of good restaurants and shops. Cinque Terre are a couple of train stops away. We used to go to Sestri Levante very often but since we discovered Moneglia, we now have a second favourite place in Liguria. Highly recommended!

Moneglia is absolutely gorgeous.
Moneglia is absolutely gorgeous. It's bursting with the smell of jasmine and has quaint little European alleys and tree-lined streets with an array of restaurants, bars, and cafes to explore. I would highly recommend Element for their truffle pasta and Assirto for an incredible dining experience.

We've been going to Moneglia on and off for 30 years.
We've been going to Moneglia on and off for 30 years. Not too many tourists and a good place from which to visit the Cinque Terre and hike in the mountains. The sheltered beach is perfect for young families - it's like one big shallow swimming pool. The restaurants in town aren't particularly special - suggest a walk/bus ride to L'Uliveto and Pagliettini for excellent value. The view from Ruotola is spectacular. We always lunch at Bagni La Secca on the next door beach where the pasta a le vongole is extra special.

Moneglia is a beautiful town with plenty of shops and restaurants. I liked walking around in its lovely streets. You can choose among different kind of beaches, so it's basically for everyone. Streets of Moneglia are during the day very busy and due to small amount of parking opportunities is often almost impossible to park your car, especially on weekend. If you find a parking spot though, the hourly parking fee I found really expensive, so be prepared to pay, or try to avoid parking for longer period of time if not necessary. After all, I'd love to come again for sure.
Amazing property. The view and outdoor spaces were absolutely jaw-dropping. One of the best properties we have ever rented. The interior was well equipped and comfortable, but you will want to spend all your time outside. The drive to the property is sporty so recommend you take the 12 minute bus ride to town and the train to Cinque Terre villages 30 mins away. Friendly neighbors too. The host has limited English but is warm and accommodating. You will have an amazing time here.
Exceptionally, romantically, perfectly. I highly recommend. A beautiful view from the house. House very well equipped. Super terrace, sun loungers. Literally everything you need. Very nice welcome. Very symaptic owners. It's worth it! It's worth it! And once again, go there. The best place in Italy I was in. You will fall in love with this house and place.

fabulous quality of all the food offered at breakfast - served with friendliness and a smile! Loved the location, fantastic room with antique terrazzo floor, tastefully and well appointed. The staff are just so helpful, kind and friendly, a quality missed so much North of Italy/the Alps.
An oasis of good vibes.
The view from our room was breathtaking, and the entire stay felt like a visit to "Nonna's" house. The breakfast food was authentic and home-made, we really felt at home in the cozy Italian deco. And the fact that this little hotel on a hill is family-owned just added to the charm of the whole experience.
The hotel was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also nice and was worth the price. The location was very easy to reach form the train station and very good to go around Moneglia. We also had dinner at the Corallo's restaurant and it was very good!
The property is located on the hills and has a lovely view. If you have a car it is one of the best places to stay, but if you are travelling by train then the public transport in the city is a problem hence you might end up paying 20 euros for every trip back and forth for the cab.
Very nice small town with all the facilities, great location to visit Cinque Terre or simply enjoy the beach; appartment was recently built/renovated and terrace has a nice view, pretty isolated from the other people. Host was welcoming and easy to contact.
The pool was fun to have for our kids, and the location out of the fray of the Cinque Terre but with a similar vibe was just perfect for us. Staff was also always lovely and super helpful. Beaches nearby were great, especially in the early evening.
Great view, clean apartment. Beautiful sunsets and bathroom was very clean and new. Apartment has everything you need. In 20 minutes by car you reach Moneglia which has nice beaches and restaurants and you can easily take the train to Cinque Terre.
Great view of the sea but a bit windy when the wind comes down the valley. Nothing to do with the hotel. Hat a great massage after our daylong hike in the hills. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip and the staff was very helpful.
Well located in the old town of Moneglia. Well presented with nice decorative touches. The shared bathrooms were maintained to a high standard and the breakfast was yummy! I loved the balcony in my room too, overlooking the old town.
Moneglia is nice little town with an easy access to cinque terre by train. The apartement is excellent and for everybody how comes here in winter or at bad weather - very warm.
Thank you very much Guilia for the very nice stay.
The room in the hotel was far more comfortable than the apartment and had an astonishing view over the sea. Moreover, the hotel is well located (~5min to the sea, ~5min to the station, ~10min to the center of Moneglia)
the hotel is very nice, clean but old. we didn’t realized theres no air conditioning which need to request ahead. it’s not very pleasant to stay without air conditioning in the middle of July w heat wave
Wonderful place to stay, close to Cinque Terre but the village itself is also very nice to spend some time relaxing. The owner family is very welcoming and all in all just a great place.
