The Fritos platter & the Seacuterie platter was exceptional cousine, either plate was enough for two. Atmosphere in the Panty Bar on Saturday evening was really amazing.

We LOVE Paternoster. It’s a beautiful little coastal village (probably more of a town now) with white houses. The beach is lovely with soft sand and great for long walks.
There are many fantastic restaurants and cafes to choose from and local seafood is excellent.
Plentiful accommodation at reasonable prices.
Definitely worth a trip and also please visit the wine lounge. Fantastic selection of South African wines run by a lovely couple Arno and Pieter. You can sip and watch the waves and world go by or catch a sunset.

Quirky shops and restaurants, great food, fresh air, beautiful views and friendly people - holiday makers and locals alike - a must visit.

It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach. There are quite a few restaurants, a supermarket, and a few small shops, but that's it. The beach is excellent for walking, but a bit too cold for swimming. There are
some game reserves and a national Park within an hour's drive and they are worth visiting. Really, it is a place for relaxing

We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets.
We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets. The local Spar had everything you would need to purchase - fresh meat, vegetables and a lovely bakery. The Beer Brewery is a must visit and make sure you try their cheese platters, the best we had.
Location was amazing, on a quieter part of the beachfront strip. We had the upstairs room with the private verandah. Windows looked out to wonderful views and perfect for catching the sun when you don’t want to be on the sand. Breakfast was amazing. We love starting out the day with a proper meal in our bellies and they also leave delicious rusks with your afternoon tea when they do their daily cleaning. The staff as so lovely as was the host Ansu. Highly recommend if you are looking for something that isn’t a self catering option.
Everything was lovely.
Very friendly rental agent.
Very friendly cleaning staff.
There was coffee, tea, milk, sugar, salt & pepper grinders, Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar which was not expected. That was a lovely touch and very helpful for self catering.
Also great to see that there were beach towels. Wish I had known as I would have had some more space in my bag if I had left my bulky beach towel at home :)
The location is fantastic in relation to the beach, the house is nice and cool during the day which is great. it is perfect location to have sunset on the beach, and the outside braai area in the garden is great. We spent most of the time on the beach and the outside shower is so great for after, also the fact that is is private is really a win.
The location was ideal! Outscirts of the town, easy to go for walks on the beach in either direction and not too close to the beach for people walking by to be in your personal space. Beautiful sunset views.
The cottage was spacious, practical and had everything and more we needed. Great self-catering unit. Worth spoiling yourself here...
A very well equipped cottage, Lise ( the owner)thought about everything , you can tell all the love she poured into her cottage from every angle. Paternoster is those little towns that you wish that they stay hidden to avoid over development. It’s worth a visit and hopefully it maintains its authenticity for a while.
This was our favourite stay in Paternoster! This hotel is beautiful! The pool was lovely and warm (the only place I actually swam at!) and the room was divine! It was our honeymoon and they made us feel so loved with some champagne and chocolates - such a nice gesture! We will definitely be back!
If you haven't stayed at Mosselbank Beach Retreat you loose out. Stunning location, beach within a 2minute walk, all the privacy one wish for. The apartment is spacious, decor superb and our host Glen was awesome. Only place I will ever book when visiting Paternoster
Location was on the beach with immediate access from our veranda. Stunning uninterrupted views. Loved the decor and facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. Delicious food and exceptional service. World class!
The house is so cute and beautifully decorated, with everything you need. Close to the beach with a beautiful view. Paternoster is the most amazing little town and we will definitely be back again!
Paternoster is a beautiful area and the property had a lovely view of the sparkling blue ocean. There was a nice outside area and pool was a bonus. The accommodation was clean and spacious.
Traditional South African hotel, right in the centre of Paternoster, walking distance to everything. All the staff were very helpful but, most importantly, all naturally friendly.
