Santa Marinella is a very quiet town, with very few food options at the time I visited, second week of April. I feel that the beach and bay area could be renovated to be more welcoming. The ocean is steps away. We were there off season so many things were closed. Come a little later in April. Restaurants around our BB opened after 7 , se we ventured a little further and found options open prior to 7.

This was a pleasant place to spend a few days before taking a cruise from Civitiveccia which is just one rail stop away. Winter temperatures were excellent for walking around the resort and visiting adjacent towns by rail. Fantastic place and people!
Fantastic place and people! Lovely terrace overlooking the beach , very good breakfast and wonderful hosts . Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and shops easy walking distance . They even brought us to the airport at the end of our stay at a very reasonable price, stay here if you can and get the terrace room for a fantastic holiday !

Nice place for a holiday, accesible from Rome easily on train. Few beaches, free, as well as with a fee, lovely reastaurants and bars. If you want to enjoy the spirit of Italian seeside, you have to come here!Králová - 10Scored 10
The hosts were wonderful.
The hosts were wonderful. The room was great for a night or two. Located close to beach. The small fridge was appreciated. The pool was refreshing after a long day on the road... more of a large soaking pool with attached jet tub. Lots of outdoor seating and lovely second floor terrace. The fact that the apartment has two bathrooms makes it especially convenient for this amount of guests. As for relaxation: the nearest small beach is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The host of the apartment responds very quickly and adequately to all messages on Booking.com. Also to questions regarding the area. Late night arrivals are possible, which was very useful for us.

It was a beautiful and bright room with plenty of space, large bathroom, had a safe and the air conditioning worked perfectly well. Our beds were comfy, they cleaned the room daily, fresh bedsheets and towels at all times. The hotel has plenty of restaurants in its proximity (walking distance), supermarkets and it is close to the centre. Staff at the reception were helpful, the cleaning ladies were very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast.

Anyone who needs a cool room at night will not get it. That being said, I know some Italian hotels turn the cold air off until the summer .. (giving them the benefit of the doubt). But it was June. The air outside was cool but mosquitoes came in .. so window open wasn’t an option. The private beach across the street wasn’t swimmable. All rocks. I would highly recommend the corner seaview rooms because the lighting was very good. The view from the restaurant is water front and beautiful. The hotel has access to a rocky beach and they provide beach chairs plus towels. They also provided wet shoes for walking in the water because there are a lot seaweed growing on the rocks. . The sea water was clear and calm for swimming too. Overall we had an relaxing stay.

Checking in and out was seamless. The hotel is in a very beautiful location, within a short walk to the beach. On the premises there is a lovely restaurant and cafe which served a great breakfast in the morning. You can’t beat this view overlooking the sea and hills from a distance.
