The suite was excellent, very clean, large with a view to the main garden. The staff changed our towels daily and prepared a full breakfast buffet for all tastes. The location is also excellent as it's close to the Terme dei Papi (the hotel also offers a ferry service to and from the springs) and also very close to Viterbo. We used it as a base to explore the region for which it was perfectly located. We would definitely book again.

The location is super central - you can walk everywhere. No need to have a car but if you do there's some parking and although my car was too large for the tiny old streets, I was able to leave it in the local piazza.
I am a solo female traveller and I felt very safe.

One of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. Located outside Viterbo in beautiful area. The structure is dated, but in good condition. There is a nice pool and very good restorant. The room was spacious and we had a big terace.

What a jewel of a place.
What a jewel of a place. We had wanted to come here for some time. Such magnificent buildings and interesting architecture. Very good and reasonably priced restaurants. We ate at L'Archetto, Cuatro Stagione, Tre Re.

Viterbo is a beautiful, charming little town, with some interesting tourist attractions, excellent bars and restaurants, and amazing thermal bath facilities close by in the area. Recommend having a car and visiting the thermal baths, they have day and evening options.

a quaint town that seems to have frozen in time. it is a lovely but slow paced place and the roads are really tiny to the point where driving is large car is not recommended. people are friendly and there are a lot of teen agers and university students. you can find cute shops and lovely dining options. unfortunately, i didn't get to tour the town but i heard that there are interesting places to visit.

It's an historic walled city with lovely tiny streets to wander around. The history of the Etruscans is very interesting.
I found a small trattoria and ate very well for 20 Euro - so I went there the next day.

Viterbo has a very large historic area, quite a lot of which is either pedestrianised or restricted to local traffic. It has a lot of parking areas outside the historic area, and there are elevators from two of them to the edge of the centre. It is not only an interesting place to walk around, but the countryside around is well worth investigating.

We found Viterbo to be an underrated gem of a town.
We found Viterbo to be an underrated gem of a town. It was a university town which meant it provided a youthful population, with lots of eating options and price points. The medieval center of town was amazingly beautiful, and the locals were very friendly. It is easy to access nearby sites from this city, while still being close to Rome. We loved it and while it was not a city we planned to visit, we are so glad we did.
It is a charming place. I felt like I was part of a medieval castle in a 13th-century village !! I slept like a baby. I had everything I needed. Everything is close by, coffee places, restaurants, stores, and ice cream places! Did some souvenir shopping and antic too. On the back street, there is a Romeo and Juliet balcony !! I loved the vibe surrounding it. I fell in love with Viterbo. I am definitely going back next year. So much more to explore in this area than I expected.
Thank you Maria Cristina for sharing this place with me.
The staff at reception is super kind and very professional, always ready to respond promptly to guest's requests. The size and comfort of bedrooms are excellent as well as bathroom sizes and of course the amazing SPA in the basement. The restyling added huge value to this historical hotel with an elegant gate and the entire lobby and common area. The use of engineered marble on the floor, cladding, and table shows an accurate design that pays attention to combining innovative materials into a classic context.
The property is set away in a private alley in a very quaint part of Viterbo. The hosts were super accommodating and met out every need with a smile and gratitude. The breakfast was expertly prepared and the host made sure we had everything our hearts desired! Ty for a wonderful stay.
What a beautiful surprise this place is..the apartment is super clean and we'll decorated .in an old town .. perfect location close to viterbo and the hot springs ..close to shops supermarket restaurants ..
The owners are really helpful and nice
It was perfect get away from Rome
Great apartment exactly in Viterbo medieval centre, with everything needed and more (even some food was there). Renewed with a lot of attention to maintain medieval flavour, simply fantastic. Host was so nice and even gave us some salami as welcome gift. Unbeatable.
The hotel design is unique and cute. Many thoughtful amenities. The location is excellent, beautiful, clean and comfortable room. The owner is one of the nicest people I met in Italia and went out of her way to accommodate me. Highly recommend.
Giorgio was super super helpful - he speaks no English and he wouldnt be winning any pictionary game any time soon but he really tried to make it a brilliant stay. Breakfast, snacks, strawberries - service was better than in all-inclusive hotel
the hotel was easy to find and had covered nearby parking. The a/c was good and the beds comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was walkable to tourist sites, restaurants and shopping The breakfast was very limited.
The room was nice. Simona was very pleasant and helpful. The location is very nice with a café right next door and walking distance to the whole inner city and easy access to parking right next to the guest house.
Fabulous location in the medieval section of Viterbo’s historic center. A short walk to free parking just outside of the walls. The B&B retains the medieval structure with modern updates -facilities.
Everything, lovely and most helpful English- and German-speaking staff, great suites, welcome presents - when i go back to Viterbo I will book the Palazzo again! 😍
