The staff is a very positive and accommodating. One time we were in the Ajacco without any Bus option (after 19h they apparently don’t serve), so they gave us taxi number. Also gave water bottles for free, etc. Also water sports on site and they are really polite and friendly. Menu at the resto is good too.

A charming, elegant town with a lively centre and a huge port. Fascinating old port, and fort well-presented and interesting to visit. Current heartbreaking exhibition re Corsican resistance in WW2. Ate well, mainly Corsican specialities e.g, mussels with cheese, veal with olives.

I had the unfortunate experience of losing my iPhone at the start of my trip. The desk managers at the Hotel Kalliste were amazing!!! They worked tirelessly to help me locate my phone that was left in a taxi. Thank you to Ilme!! Thank you to Joanne!! Thank you to Thomas!! You all went above and beyond to help me locate my phone. Great sleuthing to all! I was able to retrieve my phone and carry on with my vacation stress free.

Ajaccio is a magical and beautiful town, full of life, beaches, and amazing restaurants. It is very accessible by foot, and the access from the airport is also quick and convenient. Locals (at least most of the people we engaged with while there) were helpful and kind. I am not sure how safe a city it is as I "lost" a very valuable watch, and I wonder if it was the act of pickpockets, or hotel staff, or it came lose (it has not in 15 years though.) That did leave me with a feeling of deep disappointment. That put aside, I very much recommend traveling to Corsica and spending a couple of days in Ajaccio.

We found many good restaurants and one favorite one we went to several times. The city is clean and the port is amazing, especially with the huge cruise ships in port. The streets with the shopping kiosks offer anything and everything. The streets go every which way but GPS was an absolute necessity. DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!!

We went to visit our granddaughter so she was our guide for the holiday. However, the hotel had a very comprehensive touch screen guide for transport, restaurants, places to see etc. Ajaccio was very accessible on foot and a week was enough to explore the town and surrounding areas on foot, bus and train. To go further afield you would need to hire a car. There were loads of restaurants and many cafes plus a weekly market by the harbour.
- Location, just 15 minute walk away from historical centre
- Underground parking! Always great option when you are staying in smaller mediterranean cities
- Very nice host who spoke good English, did an intro to hotel facilities and also gave us some hints on the Ajaccio itself
- Room was clean, spacious, loft-style
- Delicious breakfast with normal amount of options. French pastry included 🥐
- Pool on the rooftop, we enjoyed it in the mornings before seeing the city and in the evenings before or after dinner.
The Hotel Fesch is in a very nice location - right off the mostly pedestrian shopping area. It is close to the train station, the harbour, boat tours, the citadel, and the market. It is not far to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, quiet and relatively spacious. They serve a good breakfast - fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs and bread and pastries - they actually had fresh whole wheat bread! There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff was helpful and courteous.
The view over Ajaccio and the harbour is unbeatable, especially during sunset. I was lucky enough to also watch some fireworks display at the harbour from the comfort of the apartment’s balcony. The apartment is very spacious and is fully equipped for a lovely short vacation. The centre-ville and train station is only 10 minutes walk away. The host was very responsive and was generously kind to give me a lift to the airport on my day of departure.
Despite the name, the hotel doesn`t resemble the "old castle"at all. Quite comfortable. My daughter and I really liked the pool, which we visited in the morning before leaving. The only thing that spoiled the mood is the price. Well, very expensive! Despite the pandemic and the almost complete absence of foreign tourists, the arrival of the French was enough. Prices for hotels in Corsica in July were not merciful....
We choose this stay close to the airport ajaccio. Not that far from town either.
what a stunning place to sleep. lovely shower and bed to sleep. Kitchen and drinks available. welcome drink and friendly owners. Don’t worry about the outside it’s the inside that counts! If you wanne see a movie of this place ig: leen.Decaestecker under highlight Corsica.
Perfect place to stay in Ayacco.Everything was perfect, the place is very clean. The room is big.the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacy and the shower has four different regimes. The bathrooms in the hotels in Corsica are very clean and modern. The hotel is very close to the historic places in the town. The receptionist is polite and helpful.
fantastic little hotel. well located near to the beach and Scudo - so much so we didn’t go into Ajaccio. staff were very welcoming and friendly and we had the best nights sleep of our trip. the pool area is lovely and pool perfect for cooling off. everything thing had been thought about. we loved this hotel and would stay here again.
this is more of an Airbnb, but a really great one. a very well designed modern space, great central location - restaurants and shopping just downstairs 5 mins to bus station or to the port, 10 to train station, 10 minutes to the beach. check in was super easy. great coffee machine with coffee pods…
The hotel is in an exquisite location with its own very beautiful beach. We had our own porch that looked out onto the sea. We liked the bar that looked out on the ocean and pool. The room had a very efficient layout.
Hôtel Fesch was perfect for our needs. It was central to explore and to reach the train station early the next morning. The rooftop bar was lovely but unfortunately was not serving food the night we were there.
Tasteful design, scenery view , extremely friendly staff and excellent self made breakfast. Absolutely nothing to complain.
It’s really rare that the hotel exceeds our expectations based on the photos
The host was kind enough to pick me up ( with a car) as I was nearing the apartment. Breathtaking views of Ajaccio seaport, la Citadelle, airport Bonaparte, and many more from the room balcony.
Good hotel just off the main street in Ajaccio. The receptionist when we arrived was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms were comfortable but quite small.
Wonderful hotel with great attention to details: the room is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic, there is great view and excellent service
It's a very nice place, and the staff is just SO great and helpful!!
They recommended a nearby restaurant - U Pettirossu - and that was our best dinner at Corsica :-)
