I didn't think the hotel was as easy to find as others have suggested. The underground parking is good..... HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO BOOK A SPACE BEFORE ARRIVAL. This is not highlighted on the Booking.com website

The town is wonderful.
The town is wonderful. Old stonehouses and also palaces and great administrative old buildings in baroque and classical styles. Surrounding mountains add to the views. Sadly you could see quite a lot drug users and homeless and unemployed people.Andreas - 10Scored 10

We were on our way to Les Arc to ski so needed a somewhere to stay overnight that was conveniently close to the motorway. The Chambery Ibis hotel ticked all the boxes and allowed us to continue our journey completely refreshed, at a very reasonable cost.

My husband left valuable jewellery in room by mistake .. after email and 3 phone calls he could not get any result. We are still trying to have his property returned .. the receptionist keeps saying they do not speak English and tell him to phone back. Very distressing.

Also the walls were really thin and could hear everything in the room next door - it was fine as it was my family but if it was a stranger it would have been more difficult. Bed was comfy but the whole place needs doing up. Good location for onward journey to the ski slopes, nice restaurant near by called Côte d’arette or something like that. The suite was clean, nice and quiet. The shower was wonderful and the in room expresso machine was nice as well.
