the hotel is clean and modern but I didn't like the design of the bathroom. Well, it’s still a matter of personal taste !

great room, relaxed hotel, super nice receptionist.
The jagged coast of Normandy contrasts with the sharp lines created by Belgian architect Auguste Perret’s post-war modernist creation in Le Havre. The city encompasses an important port at the mouth of the Seine river that flows into the English Channel after passing through Paris.
St. Joseph’s Church rose from the ashes of World War II to become a striking symbol for Le Havre’s architectural awakening. The huge tower consists of a concrete outer skin complemented with a Neo-Gothic interior including coloured-glass windows letting in different shades of light.
The Andre Malraux Museum has a wonderful collection of artworks from the Impressionist period including paintings from Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Wide open spaces and fountains are a feature of the square, one of the biggest in France, surrounding Hotel de Ville (town hall).
Sometimes referred to as the ‘Brasilia of France’, Le Havre incorporates the work of Brazil’s most famous architect, Oscar Niemeyer, in his creation Le Volcan. Spanning the river Seine is Le Pont de Normandie, an iconic cable bridge linking the city with Honfleur.
Most hotels and apartments on Booking.com are located in the compact city centre or around the train station.

Vibrant cafes and restaurants, good shopping facilities and easy rail and bus access to other areas. The promenade has been tidied up, looks very elegant and stylish. Ideal for watching ships enter harbour. I particularly enjoyed the port tours by Vedettes Baie de Seine., running three times per day in season. MuMa (Museum of Modern Arts) on the front is worth a visit too.

A very pleasant surprise - a nice looking city with lots of great bars and restaurants and amazing architecture. A must visit to Saint Joseph church and Niemayer plaza. I can recommend a place to eat - and watch sports - called "La grande ecole" - a huge school transformed to a bar-restaurant-pub-sports bar - community center - kids playground.

The centre of Le Havre is a unique place, which is why it has UNESCO designation. With its lengthy waterfront, there is lots to explore. The people we met in the Office de Tourisme and at visitor attractions were very welcoming. The city is easy to get around, with the trams and network of buses running frequently and at low fares. In the evenings, we found some very good restaurants and bars to spend our time. Overall, a city we'd definitely recommend, and with luck, may return to one day.

Le Havre is not a tourist place at all.
Le Havre is not a tourist place at all. It is a nice place to sleep over due to the Hotel's availability. We went to sleep there because the prices and quality is better than Etretat. About the beach, the North Sea wind is always there. Cold water also so don't expect a nice beach day in Le Havre.

When we drove into Le Havre, we thought it was awful as you pass a large oil refinery and a lot of industrial buildings and then there is a lot of 1960 type architecture related to the rebuilding after the war so it was not inviting. However after we got settled and walking on the beach and around the downtown, we discovered it was a lovely place to visit. It is also a great central location to travel east and west from to see the rest of the Normandy coast.

Le Havre is great, I really enjoyed the city. saturday night is buzzing everyone is out and there are bars with tables out on the pavement that are all busy. it's not a typical tourist town so there are no souvenir shops - in fact, there are not really any tourists which is quite refreshing. the bars and restaurants are friendly and welcoming.
we stayed downtown and in every direction we went we ended up in a great place! whether it was in the uni district, the local bars downtown, or st vincent near the beach, we got the train to Rouen which was easy to do and 50 mins on the train.
all round had a great time.
Had to park in street as booked parking not available on arrival. Parking available next morning, very secure and you walk out of hotel straight into the car park. My car is an MPV which was very tight getting through the door, but the spaces allocated were no problem.
Ideally situated on main tram route to town centre & beach. Trams are very good, 4.50 euros for a 4 trip ticket. Opposite hotel is a cash point, very convenient.
Room spotless and secure wifi was good. Room was serviced, so fresh towels daily.
This is funky property combined in a facility for office work-related things. Hard to figure out. So while tgere were always people lounging in the lobby, large groups of non- hotel users had large tables reserved for meals. To the detriment of small group hotel guests. Interesting decor with posters not English friendly. Wonderful bathroom except for slippery show floor and no hand holds for getting out. A wonderful facility offering much to please young travelers.
This is a lovely place. Do not skip the awesome breakfast! With amazing jams, cheeses, croissants, fresh puddings, etc. Served in two rooms decorated with rustic charm. Their coffee machine is wonderful! The staff is super friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the sea, or to top of hills with a view. It is very tranquil. A sign says they welcome dogs also.
The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Le Havre. We so enjoyed the expansive view of the waterway—watching the sailboats, cargo ships, and cruise ships enter and exit the harbor. We also appreciated the attention to detail and the clear instructions for using the amenities and entering and leaving the building.
Nothing my wife and i got there and from the very beginning felt very uncomfortable of hotel and its surroundings so we came back got our bags from their storage and went to another hotel i would like this charge off and returned to my Creit card please or i will take this a different direction i use your booking all the time Help Mr.Whitmark
Perfect for a couple or single wanting a stopover in Le Havre when arriving or departing on a ferry. Free off street parking, 20 minute walk into town or 5 minutes from bus or tram stops. Local food shopping. Well equipped clean studio with cooking facilities.. Nicely appointed communal area. Excellent value. Would use again.
Very central, very well decorated, all you need is there. The owner was nice and getting the key was easy and flexible as it is with a lock box.
The apartment is in one of the best spots in Le Havre, 2 mn foot to the seaside, 5 mn walk to the center and literally in front of the church St Joseph.
I would recommend!
Friendly hosts, well equipped apartment in a very central but quiet location in the centre of Le Havre close to many shops and restaurants. Parking is posssible in the nearby Les Halles car park, in the evening parking slots without charging can also be found easily in neighbouring streets (at least in August).
Very good location, easy to park (but it was August). Staff is SUPER nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean (not huge but not small either), probably recently refurbished l.
Once checked-in the staff gave us a super useful note, with a list of bars, restaurants and sightseeing of Le Havre and Honfleur.
Very nice and available host. Easy to pick up drop off keys. The location is great you are close to the beacj (15 mins) and also in a part of Le Havre full of restos and bars. Small screen smart tv and sound system, easy to connect and good wifi.
Easy parking just in front, though with parking fee.
We booked this hotel as our original apartment in Le Havre had a water leak from the upstairs apartment and there was no water to the building. There was a lift. There is a Nespresso machine in the room. The local takeaway pizza is really good, and 40m away from the hotel, was very quick.
Clean and very nice appartment .close to shops tram and center of le havre . Barbecue on the site is so cool . Kevin is a super Host . Very attentive to our needs . Especially to the children . You feel like your Home . Highly recomended . Sure we will back again ...
The hotel location is very central. It is very cosy and you feel being in a warm place. There is everything you need on the spot: parking available, breakfast, spa services, lift, friendly staff and good internet connection.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff is friendly and responsive. The rooms are clean. And the addition of hot drinks available in the room for after the walk in rainy Le Havre is especially nice.
We love Hilton Garden In. It is the best hotel in Le Havre. I am very thankful to Hilton staff. They made our stay spacious and unforgettable. We will definetly come again.
