Front desk helped us book a restaurant at late notice on Easter weekend. We then realised the kids wouldn't like the food and they were very helpful, finding us another restaurant with no complaints. Really appreciated it.

Location is perfect. We used to stay at this hotel when our children were young en route to the South of France. Then it was jaded but we loved the history of the hotel. Now we have returned 24 years later and we have found the hotel sympathetically restored. The staff were really friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it...
Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it being just on the motorway. The condition of the place was appalling. On first sight it looks scruffy, only half the signage worked and it looks like it needs a good coat of paint. The rooms are super basic, which would be fine if they were clean which they weren't. We ended up having to pay for this hotel but we didn't stay as it would have spoiled our holiday.

Excellent location off the motorway and very convenient for trip south to the coast. Bed comfortable and quiet night. Nice restaurants in Macon but had a drink in bar after. Hotel is dated and needs a refresh but you will barely notice if you have been driving 12 hours! Lovely staff.

The apartment was ok, just the smell of sewage is really bad, the entrance door, key area & steps up to the apartments is that bad, you think your going into a ghetto
Macon, I took my wife to the 360 Hotel roof terrace for tge sunset & views over Macon, fortunately it brightened up from the earlier rain.. but the service was a little slow, & trying to pay was taking so long a queue developed of about 12 people.. problem was... 1 person using the only tablet to pay the bill.. nice place though, unlike the open air parking by the river, as my wife & I were too busy looking through the trees to find a space to park my American pick up truck, we then walked off to the apartment away from the entrance, only returning at 08.00 to find a full size market in the car park, & my truck gone... a local helped & showed me the signs at the entrance, No Parking between 00.00 - 12.00.. went to local police station & waited until 09.00, when they opened, they apologised but its my fault, €15 taxi to the compound, & €126 release fee, we left lost 3 hrs.. then caught heavy traffic to & around Lyon... so use tge underground parking

Mâcon is an up and coming town with warm and welcoming people, interesting walks, lovely river side promenades and seemingly a wide variety of good restaurants. We particularly like discovering the little shops dotted all around the central old down. Great city, One to visit again.

Take a trip to Cluny.
The mountains make a dive for the river in a beautiful green carpet of vineyards.

Breakfast was very good, croissants, bread, juices, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, butter, jam etc. It was cosy, comfortable. Short drive to Macon for resturants for an evening meal. The top bed was a bit difficult for our 14 year old son to get into, but he is exceptionally tall for his age. David showed us around briefly and we arranged the time for breakfast. which he dropped off as arranged.
Location is perfect. Minutes walk from everything in Macon and easy to park on the street. I think it is free to park but it was the weekend so we didn't really check. Bathroom and shower good. Kitchenette very good although we didn't use it. Big room. TV. Fan. We also asked if we could check out at 12PM and they said yes, which was nice.
Extremely convenient to the nearby Autoroute, we were practically on the exit ramp. It was not fancy, but for a roadside hotel, it had everything we needed, beds, bathroom and TV. It was convenient to Macon and we were able to walk along the river before settling in for the evening.
Nothing got there but nobody about money came out off account but could not get into link too pay a deposit after 3 attempts and was very late had too book into another hotel but got no refund even after calling booking.com to cancel.
The receptionist was absolutely fantastic. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is in the heart of Macon and within easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again when passing through.
We loved the hotel. Lovely and spacious rooms with everything you need- complementary teas/coffees , electric kettle and bottle of mineral water!
Restaurant buffet dinner available till 22.30! We love Novotel hotels!
This hotel is in a great location, easy walk into the old town and the river front, Staff helpful and friendly and a reasonable breakfast.
The parking is very good and truly secure, but must be booked in advance.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, warm welcome, comfortable bed, all very clean, near Vieux Sts. Vincent and Ursuline museum, parking in front of hotel, river view, good restaurants right around the corner.
