We went there for the "FETE DU CITRON" with the children (8 and 3 yrs old) and it was super. The events were very nice; just a suggestion for the parades: book in advance the seats.
The old city is very nice for walks.
Lots of playgrounds for children .

We loved Menton! It is a great walking town.
We loved Menton! It is a great walking town. Beautiful views, wonderful foods. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed everything. We drove to Italy for lunch. It was so easy to navigate. Drivers are more patient than in the U.S., and it was so nice to drive without stress. The service was great at every restaurant and shop we visited. We had a view of the mediterranian sea from our balcony at the Vacances Blue Royal Westminster. They were great. We want to move to Menton!!
The sea seems right outside the coast-facing rooms and the view from the table and chairs on the balcony is wonderful: morning sunshine and a long view of the bay. Note there is a road with traffic between the sea and the hotel, busy at peak times but also a bus route which is helpful.
Breakfast was excellent and included in our room rate: buffet with lots of options and all very fresh and good.
There is a private beach and bar belonging to the hotel but not in sight of it - 5 mins walk along the coast away from Menton.
Perfect location in the old town Menton about 10/15 mins away from train stations that gave endless possibilities. Sandwiched between two expensive hotels the large apartment had floor to ceiling doors off the kitchen and bedroom to the street and off the lounge and second bedroom to the garden and sea beyond. You could fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Supermarket was a minutes walk away. Very clean, hosts were on hand for any queries/questions and met us for key handovers, departure being at 7am our request.
Location is very well, near supermarket, fast food,bakery,5 minutes walk to the centre and beach, hotel is very practical, everything work fine parking, enterance to hotel,reception...But you mast to knew the reception is not open all day and if you late for chek in you have to recive instruction how to get into hotel and if you want to make parking reservation it is possible only by phone not by email.Menton is perfect city for relaxation, great beach,food,music,architecture...
Host, location, view, and flat were all wonderful. We highly recommend this flat. The kitchen had all the items needed to prepare your own meals. Master bedroom is a good size and comfortable for an extended stay. Two upstairs bedrooms/lofts have multiple sleeping arrangements. The entire flat has been updated. Furniture is newer and looks great. Family House Vue Mer and Menton are a great choice for your holiday.
The hotel reached out and inquire about our bed preference and based on our response upgraded us to a room with queen sized bed and a balcony. The reception staffs were all wonderful! When we checked out and had to leave a bottle of wine with them, they went out of their way to take care of our wine and all 5 of our bags.
It is located centrally and one can use it to access what Menton has to offer.
Lovely little hotel. The staff was so helpful and wonderful. The location was great, just about a 12-min walk from Menton train station. We had a view of the sea and it was so beautiful. The hotel is a little outside the main centre of Menton, but there are still restaurants and cafes within an easy walk along the beachfront.
The genuine friendliness and professionalism of the Owner and the entire staff. The historical significance of this hotel. The charm and gracefulness of the decor. A reminder that we should all welcome our best manners when visiting these elegant establishments.
The breakfast was very good (starting already at 7. a. m.). We had two rooms which were connected by a door which was perfect for us. The possibility to park our car in the hotel. The hotel is very close (walking distance) to the beach and the centre of Menton.
Very good professional staff .
Historic hotel with barock, aristocratic and artistic environment with classic music in breakfast area.
The best value for money hotel in Menton in the most strategic location.
Perfect environment for reading and writing.
Ideally situated in the centre of Menton. Easy parking just outside the Hotel. Very clean rooms, perfect aesthetics and very well equipped, quiet as wall. Great views. Excellent breakfast. Extremely polite and helpful personnel. Top hospitality.
Good and clean hotel, nice sea view, friendly staff. Beach nearby and down-town Menton at walking distance. Upper floor / roof top has the spa with small pool, all looked nice and clean. (unfortunately had no time to enjoy)
This was the perfect location to explore Menton, about a 15 minute walk from the train station and just one block from the sea and rows of waterfront restaurants. The hotel is set back from the street so it is quieter
The location was just the center of Menton, 5 mins walking distance from the main station. The room was perfect for a small family with a kid, all the necessary staffs were there. We really enjoyed our stay there.
The hotel Manager looked after us from arrival to departure and our rooms were great. Insured our motorbikes was parked safely. Rooms clean and food included wasn't too bad.
A warm welcome in a beautifully decorated and cosy hotel, close to the sea front in Menton. Always service with a smile with the feeling management really cared.
It’s good for budget hotel. There was no information we got about Menton and two room were totally separated as we were 1st my friends were 3rd. So disappointed.
