A beautiful medieval town with interesting architecture.
A beautiful medieval town with interesting architecture. The guided tour (which was offered in 12 languages!!) with the boat through the river was nice and interesting. People in general and personnel of the hotel, restaurants and cafes were very polite, smiling and multilingual (something extremely useful if you don't speak French). The famous cathedral was beautiful architecturally but somehow "soulless" and icy cold. The stairs to the top need excellent physical condition. The charge was different for some of us, for no reason. It seemed that the person who was responsible for the tickets decided on spot about the price (some of us paid 8 euros while others 5 euros. We were all the same age with no students...). Unfortunately most of the restaurants and cafes aren't local but Asian so if you want to taste the local dishes you need to search a lot.

There are boats plying on the canal. Don’t take them. Walk is the best. People are very friendly. Beer is good.

The location of Hotel Roses is great. The Ill River and its broad walkway is just across the street. It was a short, pretty walk along the river to the Strasbourg Cathedral and the heart of the city. Several inexpensive restaurants are along this walkway. We loved the rose themed decor. Our bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff are very helpful and speak English. The breakfast was ample with a good assortment of croissants, breads, cheeses, meats, and yogurts plus coffee, tea and juices.
More or less everything was on point - the room, the cleanliness, the tidiness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a good size, it was spotless, and the wifi and the number of plug sockets were excellent. the breakfast was plentiful and the various things on offer were regularly replenished. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel was near to a tram stop which was a couple of minutes from the Gare Centrale and 10 minutes from the city centre
The hotel was close to the centre and we parked outside the hotel on the road as we had a roof box. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Justine on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us a restaurant for 9 of us at short notice. We had a lovely breakfast early on Sunday morning so we could get on the road to head back to the uk. Strasbourg was a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our stay.
The location is good, near to the train station (3-4 min walk) and near to "La Petite France"/Grande-Île de Strasbourg (8-10 min walk). The room did not have a great view but at least it was quiet, and the bathroom was big and modern. The staff was pleasant and we were able to leave our luggage after check out in a special room. Overall the hotel is ok for the price.
Beautiful hotel in Petite France old town area. The hotel interior was remodeled 6 years genes so it has very modern interiors, but maintains the classic feel from the outside. Such a nice area to wander around. We had a spacious room, and very comfortable bed. It was quiet with very good sound proofing. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.
Excellent hotel right in the heart of Strasbourg. Parking is available behind the hotel (drop your bags of first!) but is limited so best to reserve a space when booking. Very good breakfast with hot and cold food available. There's a very pleasant bar area. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.
Wonderful location for a weekend stay in Strasbourg. Comfortable rooms with nice view of the city. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old city, with shops (pharmacy, groceries, wine shop, bakery) only 2-3 minutes away. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Neighbourhood was quiet and very safe.
We stayed on the top floor in which the room had bunk beds and main beds for a big family. The breakfast was good with more options(cereal, fruits,...). Staffs were friendly and helpful.
It was a walkable distance to reach the beautiful "Petite France" where the hotels were pricey.
It was a perfect and comfortable stay!
Tasty breakfast, polite staff and comfortable cozy room.
Perfect location from several minutes by feet of the city`s attractions.
If you want to have a wonderful time in Strasbourg, you should stay in Ibis Strasbourg Centre Petite France.
I like the reception guy MR.Amine and Moaz and also the owdeny the night shift person too. Those are the caliber of this hotel honestly. Very charming, helpful and fantastic too. Hotel location was very nice too. Room a bit small but it match with the price. Welcome to France.
Good hotel in a quiet location. Small but cozy room with a table. Coffee, tea, kettle. Welcoming staff. Large parking lot. 20 minutes walk to "La Petite France", half an hour - to the "Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg". I am completely satisfied!
It is a very good hotel with a great location, just 7 minutes walk from train station, only 5 minutes walk to petit France and 10 minutes walk to the cathedral.
Our room was really cozy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nice.
The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice. Checking and check out were really easy. The location of the hotel is perfect just between the station and Petite France.
very nice hotel in the centre of strasbourg- nice cafe in the lobby- good music- very clean-comfortable bed and pillows. i am in strasbourg very often for work and it’s hard to find a value for money hotel
The mattress!!! OMG I love the mattress so much. It's on the firm side, super comfortable, I think I will come to Strasbourg again just to stay in this hotel and sleep a couple more nights on their bed.
