Dungarvan is a very nice town with a lovely Square and Pier area with nice Restaurants and Bars. Nice walks and Cycle area in and near the town. The town was easy to get around with not many hills. "The Local" bar served beautiful Sea Food Platters. Most of the people in Dungarvan were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good. Wide choice. Pleasant and attentive staff.
We also booked evening meal which was very good. Plenty of variety. A little bit of a delay in getting it but as to be expected and well worth the wait anyway. We only live in Tipperary and took this as a short one night stay to escape the confinement of lockdown. Had been to Dungarvan before several times but first time stopover.
Many thanks for your contribution to that experience.
Will definitely stay at the Hotel again
We loved the Comeragh View! Our hosts were delightful and helped us find good options for dinner in Dungarvan. Our room was very comfortable and had a large window overlooking the yard. The night we stayed there, the weather was clear and we availed ourselves to an amazing show of stars in the night sky! Our full Irish breakfast the morning following our stay was delicious and quite filling. We really enjoyed our stay
All the Staff (on arrival & at Breakfast), were very nice, friendly & welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable & shower was great. We stayed 1 night, but, Fridge was a Bonus for someone staying longer, if required. Great choice at Breakfast and loved getting it served to our table, hot & fresh from the Kitchen. We will definitely return to the Tannery when we stay in Dungarvan again.
We stayed at the resort with the family and friends and had a great time. The kids as well as the adults really enjoyed the swimming pool. The house was very spacious. Rooms were of good size. The staff was friendly. Everything worked in the house. The location of the resort was excellent as well! very near to the beautfil Dungarvan. We will definitely visit again!
I’ve stayed in this hotel previously and I love it’s location to Dungarvan. Also as I had decided to the Greenway, the bike rental was adjacent to hotel which was useful for collection and drop off. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffee truck outside was also lovely and the garden area out back was lovely especially with the sunshine.
Everything was perfect for us, amazing hosts they were so kind, it will a pleasure to come back to this lovely place, great and peaceful location, the viewing is beautiful enjoyable after a long day exploring around, all facilities extremely clean and comfy, delicious breakfast, I can say it was the best B&B we have stayed in Ireland.
We booked Dun Ard for 2 nights so that se can visit Dungarvan and ride bikes along the Waterford Greenway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Our hostesses were most hospitable and gave us other recommendations for rainy days. They made us a delicious breakfast.
If you want a 5 star B & B this is it. Great location for visiting West Waterford & Dungarvan. Beautiful & comfortable room. Breakfast was first class. You were able to choose something different each morning & excellently presented. Thanks Joe & Ann
Clean and comfortable room with extras like bottled water in fridge. Convenient location in town centre, close to shops and cafes/bars. John the host was friendly, offered to collect us from the bus stop and showed us the best places to eat.
The building was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and in a nice location. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. We liked having a kitchenette in our room and the view of the castle from our window.
Lovely and quiet room in front of the ocean.
Catherine provided a very warm welcome and the breakfast was amazing!
Best Irish scones I have ever tried.
Few minutes by car to Dungarvan. Worth visit!
Really great home for a stay in Dungarvan.
Three large bedrooms, plenty living and dining space, and a lovely outdoor area.
Would highly reccomend and only 10 minute walk into the main square.
very accomodating - we were able to lock our e bikes inside the hotel - huge bonus. Breakfast was ok typical for an included breakfast, location is excellent, staff were very friendly
Catherine was absolutely lovely & her place was outstanding-comfortable and sparkling clean. The breakfast was just as other reviewers described-out of this world!
The cottage was cosy, warm and comfortable. It was very close to Clonea Strand and was so peaceful. Plenty of parking space and very relaxed feel about the place.
