All was very good ...bed..bar and staff very good BUT.
I had hake dish in bar at night time...it was badly presented and overcooked..very disappointed.
My wife had the clayton burger. It was OK...wouldn't dine there again..
But the breakfast was excellent

Staff very rude. Came to out table a few times while we were still eating, trying to take our plates away. Very rude anytime we asked for something. Would never stay here again. We stayed in the River Court on our second night in Wexford and it was by far a better and friendly hotel.

Staff advised that we could have a packed breakfast to take away as we had a very early check out time. The breakfast was substantial and very much appreciated.

Right in the centre of town - great as a base for walking around the old town.
They make it perfectly obvious that they don't serve ANY food but not a problem as restaurants and cafes on doorstep plus great move to allow you to bring food into the bar !

I lived there for seven years and I miss it. If you have not been go there. It has everything you need in a town. All shops are accessible by walking. It has a very good nightlife and you will not be stuck to find a good restaurant. The people there are very friendly. Fantastic beaches within a short drive. The problem when I go there I spend too much lol.

Friendly people ,lots of shops with character and individuality! Could do with more gastro pubs without spoiling the charm of this lovely town! Lots of things to do and see in Wexford especially in Gorey where there is a lovely town and lots of estates sites to visits seeped in history/ culture etc! Wexford is easy to get around on foot and by car! Loved Enniscorthy Castle well worth a visit! The seal sanctuary in Courtown is also well worth a visit!

We went to Wexford for the annual Opera Festival. The Opera House is delightful. Wexford itself is a vibrant place with lots of independent shops and restaurants and an interesting history dating back to Viking times. Of particular note was a restaurant called Jaspers (booking essential) in the Crown Quarter.
Lots of parking facilities and a compact town so easy to walk round.

Wexford is a beautiful harbour town with a great mix of shops. Lots of bars, which have plenty of live music each night, including 'Trad Nights' with traditional Irish music, also lots of eateries, sights to see, art galleries and a National Opera House. The twin churches are very pretty, make for a beautiful photograph from a distance and are both worth a look inside to make comparisons. It's only a short walk between the two. The short drive over Wexford Bridge towards Ferrybank takes you to the beach where the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan was filmed and in the other direction towards Rosslare, if you drive past Kelly's resort Hotel and keep on going and going along the little peninsula, there is a very interesting Lifeboat Memorial to be seen which looks over towards Wexford itself.

Wexford was just a stopover for us on the way to other places. We arrived at night and left in the morning. I think a day or two would have been good to explore, but we simply didn’t have time this trip.

This is our second time in wexford and unfortunately everytime we have been there it was raining heavily.
The buildings look dreary in bad weather. People we met were very friendly and helpful and we liked that its a walkable town.
The hotel was very clean and decorated very well. I really like the outdoor area of the hotel as the grounds were really lovely. Considering the hotel is just off the main road and to be able to dampen all the noise with their placement of trees and hedging, i thought that was really good. The plants and that was also lovely feature, especially as the weather was lovely while we were staying.
The quality and range of food at breakfast was outstanding. It was by a long way the best breakfast we've had in staying at a range of hotels and b and bs in Wexford for thirty years. Service was excellent too. In the room, bed was comfortable. Lots of nice touches - good towels, iron and ironing board, table and comfortable chairs in the room. Bottles of water on departure.
What we loved most about the hotel was the clean rooms, wonderful & kind staff, and the pool area. The view of the sunset over the water was spectacular each evening from our room. It was also a quick walk (about five minutes) to the town that had many shops and restaurants. It was only about a 10-15 minute drive to Curracloe Beach which was absolutely beautiful.
Right in the middle of Wexford everything close by shops pubs Resturaunts great places too eat with a wide range of food to suite everyone 1st time staying in this hotel but will be back very soon great night life too in the huge bar with live music at the weekend
just outside of Wexford. Handy to the town but removed from the hustle and bustle. pretty surroundings. Charming room and dining room. The host call an Ireland number for me as I couldn’t figure it out on my iPhone.
The hotel is located on the banks of the Slaney so was peaceful & picturesque. The hotel was perfectly located to explore Wexford & surrounding counties and have a good base with excellent food & drink to come back to.
Very central location, great big pub. Comfortable beds and clean room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My first time visiting Wexford and I would definitely come to visit again and stay in Buglers.
Lovely small hotel at the edge of Wexford town. Food good in the restaurant with breakfast freshly cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking facilities. Rooms spacious and very clean.
Lovely breakfast, nice hotel on the outskirts of Wexford. If you want to drink in local pubs the you are ten mins away so probably better booking a hotel in the town.amole carpark and lovely staff
The Hotel is ideal for shopping or socialisining in Wexford Town. The large room with view of river was a surprise.
Food was good
There is a pool on the 1st Floor with sauna etc.
Nothing to like Newbay House cancelled my reservation the day before we were to arrive and gave us a complimentary stay in their sister hotel in wexford, which was a disaster!!!
Lovely hotel. The room was so nice with a four poster bed. Staff are so nice and friendly. Food was lovely. Perfect location overlooking Wexford harbour.
Excellent little hotel - comfortable and easy to find . Nice bar and restaurant attached to the property. Staff were lovely. I be booking again in Jan.
