Jenny was a wonderful host. We were only there quickly before the Great Ocean Road Marathon. They went to the extra effort to ensure we were as comfortable as possible including breakfast made in advance for runners.
People were awesome and friendly.
Only problem was the thousands of semi-trailers travelling right through town every day...Noisy..and the animal trucks with animals on smelled...for a minute each time..they should provide a by-pass for their convenience and ours
Otherwise great
Excellent shopping, and browsing, entertainment. Ten pin Bowling.

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake Colac. It was very popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists and is very picturesque. It is possible to drive through the gates and around the grounds in a circular drive.

Due to the current Virus, a lack of places to sit down and eat was a nuisance, As older people (mid 70's to 80) we need to sit somewhere, and hate the idea of standing around like cattle eating our food. However, we realise it's not the fault of Colac, just the current state of things, which, given time, must obviously improve. We will certainly re-visit very soon, as we quite liked the town, and surrounds. Generally it seems to us, although on a short visit, to be a nice place to be. A welcome change from the City!

Reasonably big town with all the amenities and facilities anyone would need. From all your major fast food restaturants to shopping centres. Definitely would recommend any traveller to come through either for the night or just to drive past and stock up on supplies.

I attended the Funeral of my Cousin, which was a very sad day.The accommodation was conviently close to where the wake was held.Had breakfast at a nice cafe in the centre of town the next morning. Staff were excellent.
A very pleasant host at check-in. Room contains microwave, decent size fridge and cutlery etc. Heater worked well - important in July! Well located - short walk to centre of town or the lake. Slightly longer walk to the train station - but do-able. Very close to a decent grocery store. Bathroom renovated and everything worked well.
Rooms are exceptionally clean, with facilities very well maintained. The level of care taken to make us feel comfortable would put many major, well known Hotels to shame. Location is on the Geelong side of Colac, so this suited us perfectly. Staff were friendly and eager to assist with dinner suggestions, and areas to visit.
This motel room was better than some of the hotel's room around the same price. The room was modern, all the amenities and appliances were included. Plus we also got free small milk bottles for the tea or coffee.
The owner was great and nice. Highly recommend.
great size rooms
easy to access the property
bathroom are the big
and the staff are lovely and happy to help you
definitely book this place, to stay for a great ocean road trip or a stay in Colac. very good place.
Excellent value for money. Very clean rooms. Felt safe.
Central Colac location with Coles, Aldi, Bunnings and restaurants nearby.
Off hours check-in was smooth and the instructions were forwarded as message.
Great location with easy access parking. Top stopover for a quick overnight if passing through or as a base for a bit of local exploring. Easy walking distance to all of Colac CBD.
This hotel used to have crisp white sheets and felt very tidy. This trip it appears to be little tired. Still, a pleasant enough stay for one night while travelling through Colac.
The rooms were very neat and clean. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot. The bed was comfortable and parking available. Perfect location for my visit to Colac.
So a nice stay! Lovely service! Tidy and neat room! So comfortable bed and blanket. Plenty of parking places, the convenient location with KFC and McDonald around.
