Barossa Brauhaus Hotel, hotel in Nuriootpa

Set in Angaston, 46 km from Big Rocking Horse, Barossa Brauhaus Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Every room comes with a balcony.

No breakfast. Would have been good to have been told that once we went out of the building we couldn't get back it. When we went to leave I went to bring car closer and then could not get back into the building. If not providing breakfast a list of places where to get breakfast would have been helpful also.

The Wine Vine Hotel, hotel in Nuriootpa

The Wine Vine Hotel offers affordable accommodation in the heart of the Barossa wine region, less than 2 km from the Barossa Wine and Visitor Centre.

The bonus question says that I stated a preference for a quiet room, which I did not, however certainly a quiet room is what I do like. The room was super quiet, & I suspect most of them there are. It was spacious & clean. Plenty of extras like tea, coffee, milk, toiletries etc, plenty of plates cutlery etc. Even were lovely little heart shaped chocolates on the bed. Good cupboard space. The larger of the 2 mattresses was very good, the single one was not & needs replacing in Room 26. Pillows comfy, & extra pillows & blankets in the wardrobe. Loved the small sheltered exterior back area outside the sliding doors, where there's a small table & two chairs. Appreciated the privacy of it. When we arrived the night before it was very cold and getting dark, so left the curtains closed & didn't discover that area till am; but next morning as the sun came out a bit were able to make use of it. Then realised we could have bought that little table inside the night before & had our meal from the restaurant in our room which is allowed & would have been great. The food at the restaurant is SO GOOD! The best Asian food I have had, usually it's more sauce than solid ingredients & the sauce too sweet or salty. Not here. The price is reasonable considering the generous serves, which also doesn't happen often. We have told others about it, & when we visit the Barossa again from Adelaide will eat there, even if not staying there. All the staff were lovely, including in the restaurant. Price of room was very reasonable hence why chosen it rather than other venues, as well as the great location. Also really helpful to be able to park a car right outside the room. Everything clean.

Ours was a family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday. I compared Casale with a luxury hotel (The Louise) and Casale. The hotel would have cost three times what we paid at Casale, but in hindsight, Casale was three times better than the hotel because of the ample, private communal space where we could hang out together.

Went to use, a Chocolate and wine tasting we had won in a lottery! as it was going to be hot booked into The Vines as it had a pool I'm glad we did it was so good to have a swim during the heat of the day! Chocolate factory was excellent who would've thought that chocolate actually does go well with wine! Special thanks to Julie (Jools) for her expertise in her job!

Extremely clean and tidy with an obvious pride displayed by all businesses and citizens. Nuriootpa obviously has a very well organised public persona and local council! The Barossa Foods Supermarket was sensational, easily the best organised and staffed I have ever seen. The quality of fruit and veg was 100%.

Booked for a quick overnight stay to go hot air ballooning. Enjoyed the mini golf and bowling, however as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, there wasn't really a whole lot else to look at besides wineries.

Great location just out of. Nuriootpa, beautiful garden setting, lovely old cottages. The bed was super comfortable, pillows great, ample towels, all requirements for self-catering, if required. Both main bed area and bathroom well appointed and spacious, parking near buildings, and we received a complimentary bottle of Kaesler Shiraz, nice touch.

Lovely to walk through wisteria to reach the cottages. I also liked the decor, and that I was able to book just one night. Clean and comfy, tea and coffee ready to go. I LOVED the brekkie tips and tranquillity, and proximity to everything - a quick drive to Nuriootpa and a tiny bit longer to Tanunda. Staff were super friendly - good vibes!

Staff were great; they gave us a bottle of wine for New Year and the cleaner was fantastic. Cleaned up the BBQ for us after we said we wanted to use it. Good location; easy cycle or walk into Nuriootpa, and a short drive to wineries and to other towns. A couple of decent supermarkets close by. Not expensive for the area.

Easy access. Beautiful, spacious and most importantly clean. The espresso coffee machine was an excellent surprise. Felt like a small house. Absolutely perfect. We recommend it to anyone. Great location too. Close to many restaurants and other small towns in the Barossa Valley.

Casale was in a great location, away from the town centre of Nuriootpa but a short drive from everything we needed. The accommodation was set among vines and olive trees and it was pleasant to sit outside at the end of the day after touring around.
