I was reading and collecting some information about city securities, I think they are over exaggerating, only if you follow the roles, and security measure. However, people of Kampala are so kind and helpful, you don't realize that till you get to know the people and culture. I will never forget such a wonderful place and people. I wish I come back there one day.

I loved Uganda , Kampala a busy city I was surprised how developed the country is, the roads are outstanding puts the UK roads to shame . people were friendly and so respectful , so much to see the Kampala tour was so interesting learned so much about Uganda there is so much to see you have to plan in advance so you can take in everything . 10 days was too short I will definitely visit again this year .

I liked the cost of food quite cheap.
I liked the cost of food quite cheap. Wonderful and hospitable people. Good WiFi connection and almost stable power and water supply in the region I stayed in. The weather although is cloudy and rainy mostly but it feels hot and sweat every time I go out. The roads are clean but a lot of breaks and holes needed maintenance. I loved the motorbike transport system “Boda” as the most convenient way considering the roads nature but they are just too many, and very risky. I hope if they abide by the traffic light rules similar to cars. Quality budget hotels and apartments few options and more expensive compared to Nairobi. It definitely worth the visit but needs careful planning.

I only stayed one night and most of the day I caught up on my sleep after a long flight. The hotel was fabulous as there was three different restaurants to eat, one had live music (Jazz) and the other was showing a rugby match which was enough to entertain me for the duration of my stay.

Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs.
Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs. I watched how the seven hills rolls into each other, the Kasubi Tombs are close. I ate most of the time at a great plane, Trinity Resort Hotel in Najeera. Getting around was quite easy with Uber and bodaboda.
If you are alone, enjoy several theatres and the Uganda Museum.

Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places.
Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places. Food is very fresh and tasty. Don’t use cars at busy hours, use bodaboda motor cycles.Don’t drive small cars when it rains, storms fill roads as the drains don’t work
This is an amazing hotel. Peaceful and calm hotel in the neighborhood of Kabalagala, one of the busiest neighborhoods in Kampala. But this hotel was very calm.
Polite and helpful staff. Especially Marie at the reception.
The restaurant is green. Full of beautiful trees and is spacious.
The food in the restaurant was often delicious. Especially when Nick was there.
We have got an excellent discount. We were lucky to stay in African Tribe for 12 nights. If we go back to Kampala, we will for sure choose this hotel again.
I found my experience at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz to be truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The value for the price exceeded my expectations, offering an array of activities to enjoy. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I am grateful for having chosen this establishment and would highly recommend it to others seeking a memorable stay.
The view from the rooms on the back of the hotel was unbeatable. Lush, green and as a bonus is was perfectly quiet day and night. The breakfast area also overlooked the golf course so it was a stunning and peaceful way to start the day, in addition to the fact that the breakfast itself was the best we had during our three weeks in the country: excellent selection, freshly brewed coffee, egg station, non - repetitive offerings. The hotel location is unbeatable - steps from Carrefour, exchanges and CJs.
The staff are proactive, friendly ,helpful and polite
in terms of cleanliness all areas in the hotel are spotlessly clean, the view of Kampala at night is beautiful and they have ample basement parking. bathrooms are very nice with rain drop showers and they also go the extra mile and provide complimentary basic amenities like tooth brush, paste , shower gel, shampoo, etc which in my situation turned out to be very useful saving me the hassle of going to buy toiletries.
Fred-Winnie BnB was without doubt our best stay in Uganda. Comfortable bed, spotless clean, big and luxury bathroom with good hot water and fantastic breakfast. It feels more like a 5star hotel than a local guesthouse. Very kind staff. Nice garden and safe parking included. Room has television good WiFi and even Netflix. There is a big kitchen for the guests with anything you need. Will never look into other places again when staying in Kampala.
The accessibility to the city center and other landmarks is #1 selling point. From all its access points, this hotel displays a well organized, secure atmosphere. Unlike many hotels in Kampala, this hotel's staff is not always in your face. Customer care is absolutely amazing. Very spacious rooms, plus their breakfasts are some of the best with endless item selection every day. Yes, the service is great, too.
wow, The best apartment I ever stay in Kampala. the apartment is in a secure and quiet location. The apartment had everything you might need for a perfect stay. The wifi is so fast, the kitchen is well equipped, nice balcony, Joseph is always available to any requests. I had a place to stay anytime I’m in Kampala. I will surely be back.
The family rooms are really spacious and with a living area. There are mosquito nets on the beds, the room service is quick and free, the staff are very polite and friendly, the healthy plants sorrounding the hotel give a very beautiful, natural view and fresh breeze. The food is served in plenty and it's very tasty.
The hotel guests are currently staying at a sister hotel and honestly it's good given the price compared to hotels around Kampala. Would definitely recommend. Plus price was real cheaper compared to the original price of the sister hotel.
My guests always requested me to book at Metropole
The property sits on top of one of the many hills in Kampala. The view is amazing with Lake Victoria in view in the distance.
The hotel itself is exceptional with the deco and artwork and the many different corners making it visually great.
