First time I heard of Lemala was on NTV Travels and it’s been on my bucket list for 3 years. I’d say I had tears of joy seeing the waters by the restaurant and my room (Karega Room 2). Upon arrival, I was briefed about the safety on the island and was glad to hear it all as a solo travellers. Next I was given options for activities and there are plenty! My room was beyond my expectations! The view, the water, the ambiance, EVERYTHING. It was wonderful waking up to the beautiful waters every morning. The restaurant too didn’t fall short of options and taste. I’d definitely come back here!

Lovely small villa with great views on the Nile, we felt welcome and safe and it was great to wake up to such beautiful landscape. We also loved the fact we could cook by ourselves - after a couple of weeks on the road and therefore always eating in bars or restaurants it was great to have some of our own comfort food, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking.

Beautiful location on the Nile with great view from tent. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Restaurant and bar were very reasonable with tasty food and big breakfast included. Waterslide was great fun as was the Kayaking

I have spent 5 days in this hostel, which is located in a quiet area of the city. The staff was really helpful and nice to me, giving advice on what to do in Jinja and how to move around the city. The rooms are clean and the security guardians at the gate are very helpful too. I would definitely recommend to stay in Bikeventures ☺️
