Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
The locals are nice and friendly. I would suggest not to take big car to jodhpur as the streets are too narrow in the old city area (where most of the tourist spots are). If possible rent a two-wheeler there and cover all the spots otherwise you can also get autos.
You can visit Osian district where you can enjoy desert safari and cultural programs (food, dance, singing). There is a famous sachchai mata temple there. Its a must visit (very clean and quite with a beautiful view of the city).
Food:
Must tries-Vijay Restaurant (ask for their specials and they will recommend you the best, do ask for lassan ki chatni), Mishrilal lassi wala (try their Malayi lassi-just amazing). Rajasthani thali
Local finds: Pyaaz ki kachori, mewa kachori (if you are sweet tooth), mirchi bada, daal bada and kabuli.

We loved the city.
We loved the city. It was much cleaner than other indian cities. And it is walkable! You can see the pride of the people here to live here. Also lots of places for shopping and most cafe's have rooftop terraces. Always great view while eating.
The hotel is absolutely the best in Jodhpur. All it's perfect. The hotel is an haveli so it is beautiful. The room is very good and it has all you need, moreover it was really clean. The breakfast is served with buffet and the dinner was one of the best supper we ate during our trip. The staff is very kind and polite. The rooftop has a stunning view on the Fort and the Blue city around. There is also a swimming poll that can be used by the guests. Simply Amazing. Absolutely recommended for the best stay in Jodhpur.
I couldn't be more grateful for this place. I planned my trip for a day in Jodhpur and ended up staying for a week. All the staff at Arch boutique made me feel at home, they helped me with everything. The location is excellent and they just have a cafeteria where you can eat delicious Indian and continental food. The rooms are super spacious and very beautiful. There is hot water and best of all you feel like you are in an oasis because they are super quiet. I loved my stay and I will return for sure.
Hospitality of the owner Mr. Chandrashekhar and his Son Praful. Their whole family members where very nice to us, helping and guiding us about Jodhpur and shopping ..places etc.
Place is decorated with traditional Jodhpur style, was completely Aww with the maintenance and the view from terrace.
Good home made food from aunty.
Sitting at terrace in night was most favourite part as terrace is well decorated with lights and making an great Ambiance for couples.
Room facilities are as in a 5 star chain hotel, room design is very new. Beds are surprisingly comfortable. Rooftop has great view of Jodphpur.
Above all most important thing is this hotel management best in jodhpur. Anything you need you get best answer and solution without any money/business/benefit seeking.
Neighborhood us very safe and location is in the middle of everything.
If you are vegetarian it is right place for real homemade jodhpur food experience.
Everything was perfect. The food is so delicious, best indian food we had so far. The rooms are very clean and beautifuly decorated. The family who owns the place is so kind and helpfull. The location is perfect and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking. We strongly recommend the Sweet Lemon Juice, Makhniya Lassi, Malai Kofta and Cashew Curry. We also recommend the cooking class! Probably one of the best places to stay/eat in Jodhpur
The hotel is an old haveli really beautiful. The best of all is the attention of the man who runs the hotel, very attentive to us from the first moment to the end. He even walked us through the streets of Jodhpur from the hotel to help us find a famous viewpoint. The spacious room has a hall at the entrance where there is also the bathroom. Everything clean, very quiet. They make a good breakfast for you at the time you tell them.
The hotel is really a hidden gem, the vibrant blue colors of the property match the magic of Jodhpur. There are plants and decorations all around that feels like the real lovely India we expected. It was not the only hidden gem though, Gudu, the manager of the hotel, was always willing to give us a sincere helping hand including helping us to get transportation and recommending us places to visit, we felt we made a good friend.
Family who runs this beautiful hotel are really friendly and nice. The view is best you can have in Jodhpur, with indian vibes all around. I had amazing food on the rooftop terrace, you can feel it's made with positive energy. The fort is just behind the corner, you can walk through it and come out on the other side into blue city.
Also the place is new, so all the amenities actually work and it's well kept and clean.
Great family, nice facilities, amazing food, cold beer, and an amazing view from the rooftop. The location is just under the fort and has to be one of the best in Jodhpur!
This is my last stop on a five-month trip, and staying here has been one of the highlights. Even added a couple days! Highly recommended and I hope to be back someday.
Everything! The best hotel we have stayed in, in India. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The food was the best food we have ate so far! Beautiful rooms, special thanks to Parmood, ranjeet, anesh, deejat for making our stay so special. Would highly recommend to anyone!
This a heritage hotel and we loved the change to the run of mill hotel experience you tend to find these days. The location is excellent affording stunning views of the Fort and the surrounding city and monuments. The food was also excellent.
Everything from rooms, furniture, lighting, food, staff was unparalleled. I've been to 5 stars often but Baijoo Niwas was The BEST. Mr. Anshuman is a perfectionist. It was super value for money. We really found a gem in Jodhpur.
excellent property, well kept, better than the best branded other 5 star property of Jodhpur which was higher priced as I subsequently stayed in Taj Hari mahal. The food platter needs to be upgraded though to match Taj.
The most amazing thing about the view from hotel room you could whole jodhpur from a room window and the nearest hotel in jodhpur mehrangarh fort and second one thing most delecius food in own hotel restraunt
I dont like redisone blue jodhpur staff behavior very poor alredy advance mail early checkin and yes to hotel then half hour counter but not positive answer then i cenceeld hotel and going indiana reaort
Banasa heritage haveli's staff is so kind and humble.I give 5 star rating to them. Very easy accessibility to the fort and clock tower market. Interior design of room was very very good.
The guest house is very nice and heritage built. The view of Jodhpur from the rooftop is so beautiful that it cannot be expressed in words. Very clean environment and efficient staff.
