This is the real India. A typical working city with almost no overseas tourists. It is not a destination with little on offer to see for tourists however, it is a jumping off point for Pench and Kanha Tiger Reserves. Changing foreign currency can be done at Thomas Cook.

The caretakers, Ankush and his wife, were very friendly, forthcoming and helpful. It is very easy to locate the Hotel and check in process is smooth as well. The room is small but has all basic amenities like AC, hot water in bathroom, clean linen and basic toiletries. We were travelling with our pet dog who was accommodated with ease. Overall I would recommend this hotel for short stays and overnight halts.
