What a pretty city in the eastern region of The Netherlands!
What a pretty city in the eastern region of The Netherlands! My husband and I explored the city on foot for three days and discovered lovely shops, wonderful coffeeshops (check out Fixed Gear if you are a cyclist), and interesting restaurants. Every meal we had in the town was delicious, and the locals were unfailingly accommodating.

It has a very bright and cozy Christmas atmosphere.
It has a very bright and cozy Christmas atmosphere. Beautiful historical areas. There are many parks and green areas to walk through. A lot of hidden gems on the outskirts of the city - definitely worth hopping on the bus from one end to the other and discovering what lies outside of the city center. Must try the breakfast menu from Coffeelovers Plein 1992.

A grand historic location not overrun by tourists.
A grand historic location not overrun by tourists. Loved not having seen huge tour busses and gobs of people following your standardised tour guidess. One doesn't have to walk far to 'get lost' in quite narrow allayes without any tourists. I was actually surprised how peaceful the town was and we did visit it on a weekend. Hance the lack of tourists, maybe that is why it was so clean? The city also offers a pleasant shopping experience. The stores are nicely spread out in numerous streets, so that you can combine a historic tour with the occasional peek in a strore. Loved the city and would gladly return.

Maastricht is a hidden treasure and should be on everyones list to visit. The tours of the underground tunnels, the history of the town itself are all fascinating. The architecture is soooooo old and captivating, everywhere you look is history. You can walk anywhere around this beautiful little town and be awed by its beauty. The restaurants we tried were terrific and the staff full of characters and openly friendly people. I loved it. I will be coming back one day.
Wonderfully decorated and recently renovated old house. Has everything you need with a modern and brand-new kitchen and bathroom. Also has a lovely patio (see pictures). Located on the edge of the old city centre so you can walk everywhere which is great if you're visiting Maastricht. Hostess was very friendly and happy to provide tips for restaurants, etc. Would stay here again if we are visiting the city in the future!
A very friendly reception lady and cleaning team and a clean and spaceous room. It has everything you need, although sometimes well hidden within the interior; I only discovered there was a mini bar when I left. There is a nice indoor pool. The location of the hotel is very central for discovering Maastricht. Public (paid) parking is at walking distance.
The hotel is just one bridge away from the city centre, just a few minutes walking. The room was big enough, the staff was kind and nice. The service from the spanish person working at the bar was outstanding, really gentle and providing good recommendations in places to visit and what to order from the menu of the hotel.
really nice restaurant and staff, the rooms were clean and we had a small balcony. It's probably the hotel that is closest to the city centre, they will keep your luggage safe in a cupboard under the main stairway if you are too early or want to linger in the city after checkout.
The location was superb. So much green surrounding the hotel. A lot of quiet. A lot of spaces to do a picnic. The castle is beautiful, very well decorated. Good breakfast. Close enough to the city centre. Bikes are at your disposal. An awesome place to stay if you have kids.
Absolutely lovely boutique hotel, with spacious, newly furbished rooms right in the city centre. All the city attractions are within short walking distance.
The buffet breakfast was very good, and the hospitality of the staff outstanding.
Wholeheartedly recommended!
The hostel is in a great location, close to Maastricht station and the city centre. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, and the whole hostel was nicely decorated. There is free tea and coffee in the common area, and breakfast was worth the extra money.
Location. Staff were wonderful.
Comfortable bed, we faced the garden so quiet at night. Great shower pressure and lots of hot water.
Central enough for us to explore the beautiful city of Maastricht. Loved the decor. It is very much a boutique hotel
Attractive hotel in a great location, close to the city centre. Parking nearby in huge outside parking. Room fine, a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Safety deposit box too small for laptops. Nice breakfast in historic room.
Staff friendly and helpful, location is very good everything is at walking distance, bed and pillows were comfortable, room was clean and relatively spacious, and hotel parking not too far away from the hotel.
The hotel is located in the perfect place: the city centre of Maastricht with the view on the river Maas and a famous bridge. 3 minor walking to the two main squares.
The room was minimalistic, quite tiny.
Breakfast was excellent, service when arriving at the hotel was exceptional. Rooms were very charming and the original building is still mostly intact. Would highly recommend it to friends and family.
The hotel is conveniently located to city centre. The bed was very comfortable and big. Coffee nachine in the room saved having to go to the bar downstairs
