Spectacular view over the Zambezi river with the mist of the falls in the distance. Within a short, safe walk to the falls. Super helpful and friendly staff who are obviously very well trained. Loved the Zebras, Impalas and Giraffe calmly walking around the property. Bed was super comfortable and the room spotless with a stunning view.

The staff Enevia and Ronald were quite helpful and I also enjoyed the English breakfast. Darius the Lodge manager who also serves as a tour guide was also very good and exceptional in organizing the tours and making sure we got there on time or arranged pick up for the ones that needed us to be picked up. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality at the lodge.

The whole experience at the lodge was above expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful, the lodge area and rooms where clean and the food was good in the lodge's restaurant and bar. The lodge can also arrange wide variety of activities such as sunset cruises and safaris with a decent price that start straight at the lodge. These were easy and hazzle-free way to see Livingstone and Victoria Falls area!

Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around.
Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around. Avoid being ripped off by taxi drivers. The falls are a sight to behold, it was majestic. Zambesi cruise is a to do activity, have dinner in one of the restaurants afterwards. Instead of buying at the town market, take a trip to Mukuni village for affordable souvenirs to take home.

Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean.
Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean. Mosquitoes weren't too much of an issue. We walked the whole length of the town in one day, enjoying the sights and sounds. Very USD focused though, so plan accordingly.

We booked a tour to Livingstone Island and Devil's Pool through LIFE ON THE EDGE. It was an awesome experience. Highlight of our trip. We paid $120 USD per person. Other tours charge more on viator and get your guide, but this is the only company that runs these tours so do not overpay by going through a middle man. Book directly. We felt safe the entire time. Well worth the money!

Getting around Livingstone was convenient as one can walk around the town or easily catch a taxi at an affordable price. There are many different cuisine options, be sure to try the local foods which were quite tasty. The Zambezi river cruise was my personal favorite activity.

Know the best time to visit the Falls as they are not the same year round. I went in October and the Zimbabwe side of Mosi-oa-Tunya was abundant whereas the Zambian side was dry. The best time to go to Livingstone for the falls is in March or April.
Activities are on the pricier side and may not appeal to regional travellers.
You can take a taxi to Chobe, it's 45 minutes away from Livingstone, so you can combine a safari with a Livingstone stay.
VERY friendly staff. Dwayne at the reception / front desk was phenomenal and a huge asset to the establishment. He is VERY customer focused, very efficient, and very empathetic and helpful towards his guests, always smiling and making our stay as comfortable as possible.
A definite asset and for such a young person has a very promising career ahead of him!
Have stayed in over 100 hotels around the world, and Dwayne's service is tops!
Thank You Dwayne and VERY well done.
A real adventure! The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.
Tabonina had all of the necessary facilities (a/c, a small fridge, mosquito nets, a pool etc) and was very clean. The breakfast was also good.
However the real draw would have to be the staff who were all incredibly helpful and friendly. This was the first bit of solo travel I did in Zambia and I was initially a lo nervous but they were so welcoming that it immediately put me at ease. They even checked on me one evening when I hadn’t had dinner!
Perfect central location in town. Close to all major banks, Spar and ShopRite supermarkets. Excellent complimentary shuttle service. Have the best night club in Livingstone at the other end of the hotel with great soundproofing. Easy to book activities from the hotel at negotiable rates. The major stand out is their staff. Sindi was amazing to us from the time she came with the shuttle to pick us up at the Zim border to the time of departure.
The location cannot be beat! We didn't even realize that the falls are essentially in the back yard of the property and that the hotel cost includes unlimited access in/out of the park. There were animals roaming around - monkeys, zebra, giraffe (!) - and we could just walk among them. With this hotel there is also access to the restaurants and amenities at the Royal Livingstone just next door. Honestly I wish we could have stayed for a week.
This hotel is such a gem in Livingstone. The developers really went all out to ensure every detail is perfect - this is a very beautiful hotel. The location is amazing, right on the edge of the mighty Zambezi River. The view from the room was incredible. Room was beautifully appointed and my bed was so comfortable. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I couldn’t fault this property.
The hotel manager is a real problem solver. A situation occurred that locked me out and with help from others the hotel manager made sure that it was solved. Also, very present and I could talk to him whenever needed.
Breakfast a la carte was very nice.
It’s in a park, so the chance you see animals in morning was realistic. Did not see though.
The location was beautiful and very peaceful away from the business of Livingstone over the festive period. It has the best stocked kitchen of any self catering accommodation that I've ever stayed at. The staff were very helpful attending to anything that needed attention quickly and efficiently.
Beautiful hotel on the banks of the river, very close to Vic Falls and Livingston
The bed was super comfy, room was very clean
Staff were super helpful
Outdoor areas were beautiful
The spa was fantastic - one of the best massages i have ever received
Loads of choice at breakfast
Loved the location! There is a cute bar by the pool and the free pancakes are definitely a bonus! A great base while in Livingstone and the staff will happily help with setting up any activity you are interested in. A relaxed vibe and a nice place to meet fellow travelers
Gloria and her team were absolutely amazing hosts. They always made sure that we were comfortable and helped us organize all our daytrips.
The location was also perfect: nice and quiet place yet close to the center of Livingstone (walking distance).
on an unsealed road with no noise. nice pool area and gardens. An authentic African small lodge: it may not have totally modern facilities required by some, but the ambience is truly Zambian. the helpful staff are also a huge asset
A calm and comfortable place, the staff was incredibly helpful to make my stay and adventure around Livingstone as smooth as possible. I would warmly recommend. Thanks to Francois and the whole team for your hospitality!
The hotel looked new, with a clean decoration, very comfortable room and common spaces.
The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. AC was not amazing.
The pool is definitely the best spot.
Breakfast was OK. Pool and surrounds and eating/bar area was nice. Good to have mozzie nets and aircon in bedrooms. Very good supermarket across the road. Livingstone is good and the activities amazing.
