Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were struggling to find our way to our accommodation with our backpacks after a 9-mile walk and called our host. He didn't hesitate to reassure us that he would pick us up and get us settled in and we were so grateful! The made-to-order breakfast was absolutely wonderful. In the morning we needed to get to our next starting point and our host offered to drop us there. Our hosts were definitely exceptional!

The location was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the place is really clean. It's a home away from home. It's a plus point that they have plates and cutleries for small kids. I appreciate that there is a compilation of how the appliances operate, flyers for food deliveries, restaurant reco, and things to do.

Lovely wee toon. Lots ongoing. KILT-WALK w/e. Helpful locals. Clean and tidy streets. Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade. Many outdoor facilities to choose from. Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks,people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄. This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ). Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Corner store by train very accommodating, can get sim card for your phone and some groceries, small deli, people use a lot, friendly owners/workers xx Shopping mall too/like. With things children can ride and ply on. Buses to go from Balloch area, walked a lot from Bruach Lodge, thru a park with picnic tables with fire pits to cook otherside is view of the Loch. Stop off to eat in Duck Bay/Hotel, good food in restaurant, pleasant service and coffee shop with eats. Still discovering xx Small pharmacy, gift shop too Need more shopsAAnonymous

We took a cruise round the Loch and eat out in the Balloch Hoise and the Tuille Arms, both of which were dog friendly. Breakfast was superb and I cannot recommend the scrambled eggs and salmon enough! We will definitely be back!
