I liked the individuality of the place. The gentleman was friendly. I had hoped to have a drink in the pub, but was a little tired.
The room was spacious, and the kettle was a welcome inclusion. It was a loft room.

We stayed here a few years ago and had a lovely experience and great room. This time we booked two rooms and were given rooms next to each other. Rooms decorated nicely. One room was very nice, big, with a balcony and good bathroom.

Had a 2 night stay at The Cotswold Grange , but would be very dubious about returning ,definately not as advertised ,not even as a B & B as you have to pay extra for a breakfast ,only to find everything was cleared away despite having booked for 9 30 the previous night, had an excellent evening at the Instanbul Kitchen which was exceptional and the following night we ate out and went to Sephs steakhouse in Cheltenham and again this was exceptional with excellent service. Taxis are readily available and good value.

Cheltenham has quite a sprawling center.
Cheltenham has quite a sprawling center. I parked up in a multi-storey car park that was attached to a huge John Lewis. It was great for access to the main street. Had a short walk to the Promenade from there. Wasn't totally impressed by Cheltenham prom. Its not as nice as I expected? You don't really get a good view of the regency style buildings, as there are a lot of overhanging trees that block the view. It all looked a bit run down. As with a lot of places these days, the menus in the cafe's offered food that I didn't find appealing, as they had what I call 'faddy' options. I did find a nice one at the end of the prom, that offered nice toasted sandwhich's, with traditional fillings. To be fair, I didn't have enough time to explore any walks or areas of interest round and about.

One end was tired looking and had a lot of beggars and rough sleepers, the other end was full of high end shops and restaurants (like most large towns). Lots of places to shop and eat. We had a delicious meal in Cote. There are lots of unique individual shops as well as the usual retail, high street shops. It's easy to walk around and see all there is to see.

Cheltenham is a lovely Regency town with so much charm.
Cheltenham is a lovely Regency town with so much charm. We dined well and went to the Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and I would highly recommend that. The bookstore on the Prom, Waterstones, was three floors and amazing. Wonderful to walk around and soak up the beauty of this Regency town.

We were there for a weekend as we were going to see a show.
We were there for a weekend as we were going to see a show. I was very impressed with the town centre which had a good mix of the usual high street shops and independent outlets.
It had a great atmosphere and I would definitely return
Lovely welcome for both myself and my dog who was provided with a dog bed and bowel. Very friendly staff and ideal location with parking either in the hotels own garage or on the street which is metered. As I was traveling with my dog who was made most welcome in the bar area I did not try the restaurant, however the bar food was served with style and was very tasty. Overall a lovely, comfortable 3 night visit, which most certainly served as a great base for the surrounding area of Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
Beautiful old Georgian hotel located in a quintessential Cheltenham square.
Plenty of free parking a plus and staff welcoming and professional. Nice tables outside for drinks from the bar if the weather is good. Room was perfectly comfortable. For the price this was very good value for such a pretty hotel in a lovely location.
2 mins walk from the Cheltenham Brewery with its various restaurants etc.
About 8 mins walk from the excellent playground in Pittville park.
The staff were very pleasant and the location we chose within proximity to an event we were attending. Local Spa Taxis provided an excellent service to and from our event in nearby Prestbury. We walked into the town centre as our room was not ready and that took around 25 minutes each way. However there were plenty of shops and eateries etc in the centre of Cheltenham.
This was unexpectedly a full apartment with a living area and proper kitchen as well as a bedroom and bathroom. We were amazed at how well-supplied it was - even a washing machine, DVD player and iron - when I'm used to "apartments" which are basically one room. Location is next to a busy road but only a few minutes walk from Cheltenham centre.
Its was the best apartment we stayed in and was like staying in a 5* hotel. It was spacious very well furnished and really felt like a luxury apartment. The apartment is conveniently located very close to shops and restaurants. Free parking was a bonus especially as it was so close to the Town Centre
The room was well decorated, if a little tired in places. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. The inclusive breakfast choice was very comprehensive and the quality was reasonable. The higher cost of a hotel that's so central is to be expected. Parking opposite the hotel was easy.
The staff were very helpful and we were looked after well. The hotel is in a generally good location with a good bus route if you don't want to drive. Cheltenham and Gloucester are both quite close. The hotel is set in pleasant grounds and is very quiet. The breakfast was good.
Very good for Cheltenham Spa railway station and the Stagecoach buses are excellent for the centre of town. No view and the WiFi wasn't working on my first night. However, very comfortable with a microwave and TV ( no Netflix etc ). Good for a few days in Cheltenham.
Great location for Cheltenham town centre and the racecourse. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and the cooked breakfast was good. Communication with the owners post-booking/pre-arrival was prompt and courteous.
Great location for a single night stay on the edge of Cheltenham city centre.
Lovely high ceiling room and disappointed that we didn't find the funky downstairs bar space until breakfast the following morning over a tasty breakfast.
Had everything we needed and more. Host was helpful and made us feel very welcome. Apartment was spacious and comfortable and close to town centre. Continental breakfast was more generous than some top hotel we have stayed at.
Perfect location for everything in the town centre, able to walk everywhere really quickly. Loved the atrium and ceiling blind. Loved the wet room and all the amenities in the room (microwave etc)
Convenient location close to town centre. Immaculately clean room, beautiful hotel, with easy no hassle check-in and check-out service. Always my first choice when stopping over in Cheltenham.
Spacious apartment, very clean, modern, large and quiet, no noises. Located to the city center, exploring Cheltenham is easy. Easy check in, good communication with the proprietor.
An excellent boutique hotel, walking distance from centre of Cheltenham. Added extras such as gin &tonic on arrival and sloe gin in the room made the stay exceptional
